My hatred for religion has just evolved, it has become super mega loath religion.
How he seems to think that homosexuality can be invoked/created is just sheer proof of their ignorance.

    Edit:
In order to get married talk to the priest of mara guy in Riften and ask about marriage, he will explain the principle and allow you to buy a amulet of mara, wich you need to wear in order to get the option for marriage.

Real christians (even though I despise all of them) and anybody worried about ethics would , should, worry MUCH more about a game like Skyrim that repeatedly rewards Satanic Ritual Murder, than the obscure possibility of gay marriage. Marriage in Skyrim is totally unnecessary and does not even come up as quest, and the closest we get to sex is "You got the Lover's Comfort Bonus".

You see, gay sex is more evil than ritual murder for christians, after all Christian culture was established by ritual murder of genocidal proportions.

    .
i do have to concur with this flaw about the game. it does disturb me a bit (among other unsavory choices my pc *has to* make to progress. i try to role play a neutral chaotic one, but more often feel pushed towards evil).

i can only assume (hope) that gamers out there are "of sane mind" who can distinguish between fantasy and reality, possessing a strong moral compass to understand that these in-game choices are just that, a game.

    it still bugs me tho.

I love the fact that they think being taught about homosexuality will make people homosexual. It's like when they claim gay marriage is a bad idea because if there are more gay people then population growth will diminish. The idea that anybody has any control over who they love is such a complete fallacy. One of my best friends is gay, and we attended a Christian curry night thing on behest of a good Christian friend (hey, £5 for a curry and a drink is totally worth sitting through ten minutes of propaganda). One of the more devout Christians there learnt that he was gay, and began quizzing him on 'what age he became gay'. My friend simply replied with 'I think it was at about the same age as when I realised I liked the colour blue, probably the same time you 'became' straight'.

It's a worrying state in society when people who are so sexually perverse that they reject love unless it is between a man and woman, and suppress their own sexual desires to appease some megalomanical invisible patriarch in the sky are allowed to tell other people that their love is invalid and evil and degenerative simply because it is between same-sex partners.

Edit: It doesn't bolster their already illogical and disgusting opinion that the majority of that article is lies:

Really? What the honest fluff are they talking about? This has to be trolling, my already limited faith in humanity can't handle the alternative.

I hope ones moral compass cannot be altered or influenced by a game.

If you read the comments on the article and other articles on the site, you can clearly see that this is a site made to blast and ridicule christianity. That being said, I am a Christian and the fact that a lot of my fellow believers actually believe things like this makes me sick. I have more gay friends than I can count, and one of them is one of my closest friends and I love him to death and would do anything for him. Yes I'm a Christian, yes I love Skyrim, and no I do not think that Gay people are going strait to hell because they are gay. Heck I deserve hell much more because of the things I have done in my life, but what I believe in is love, unconditional love.

TLDR: I'm a Christian who loves Gay people and hates Christians who hate gay people.

Anybody with any sanity left would know that populaion growth MUST diminish, but christians abandoned sanity to a Faith that is only a hollow word based on a morass of lies and a lack of a spine.

I'm not gay, but i think homophobic people are latent homosexuals with serious anal-retentive issues, they cling onto their controlling personality and anything that may suggest a relaxing of those tight anal issues is truly painful to them, so they react with fear. Something like that, anyway. They need to use their own fingers to explore that area and find out a bit more about themselves. :D

In the Christian program, people are sheep, and the more sheep the merrier. That’s why the pope banned condoms. They interfere with the sheep production line. Homosexuality undermines the nuclear family, and the man-dominates-woman program, so it looks like a virus to them.

and it is your freedom to choose.

i want to be clear that i posted the link without an iota of intention to bash/put down any beliefs, specifically here, christianity, but rather to expose a method of blatant ignorant propaganda :-)

This is libel, pure and simple. I wonder if Bethesda are prosecuting these strange people.

Is it just me or does anyone else think these Christian nuts get some kind of sexual gratification from reading and writing this stuff?

Some Christians are just so backwards. They complain that society is becoming more and more secular, yet some of them are living in a different age to the rest of society and wonder why society rejects their outlook.

I'm not offended that you posted it, I think its pretty obvious that the article is supposed to be a "joke" although I find it disgusting. And yes the church does spread propaganda about homosexuality. My parents believe it, and I can't stand living with them. Ignorance and as Skullratlla says being "sheep" is much too rampant in the Christian faith. The apostle Paul challenged people to "question everything" to not believe anything that a priest or the pope or anybody tells you, until you have analyzed it yourself.

this, my friend, is apparent -- to those who've actually spent time to play the game and know it's all unadulterated lies.

would it not be a sweet-roll irony if the peeps who take up arms with this author went out and bought skyrim to check it out for themselves -- perhaps out of curiosity, or better yet, closeted inclinations to act out the said-available in-game fantasies acts in the privacy/safety of their homes -- and that the libel actual boost its sales?!

maybe not by much, but it would still be an irony. lol

You seem like a progressive Christian with real Christian values. I think Christianity would be more popular if more Christians were like you.

The article in question is satire, written by someone who wants to ridicule conservative Christianity. Yet too many people take it at face value. If you read it closely it's obvious most of the content is garbage just meant to provoke.

Indeed, but it's worrying that it satirises real views of some sects of the church.
