What will a True Nord wear?

Hi everyone, I have a little problem with my new Nord warrior, I am trying to figure out what a true nord will wear. Some folks will say the Anicent Nord Armor but it's a old ceremonial armor, in the time when the nords worshipped the dragons, so that will be a little akward to wear the that when you are against all the dragons and cultist. Are you trying to figure this out for an in game character or for a Roleplaying character?

If you're looking for help with an Roleplay character, the image you linked is just the basic studded armor and a iron horned helmet. which would be perfectly fine for a nord. Any of the armor would work really. The only ones that tend to be discouraged are the Daedric armors, unless you've got an older character that's been around for a while

I agree with Cpt. Strongknot, for ingame or roleplay a personal favorite armor is banded iron with nordic guantlets.

To "Gemini Sierra" it's for my Nord character, I want to fell more like a nord, and more into the world, people in Skyrim speaks always about a "True Nord". And got a bit confused about what a true nord will wear.

Hmmm... if you're looking for information on being a "true nord" you could review this uesp wiki page about the Nords and go from there. If you want to use the picture you posted as a reference, then I think the studded armor is you choice of armor. However, most of the armors are available to anyone with the right skills and/or money. I would also think that any armor that is fur lined would be appropriate, like the steel armor. Actually, as I type, I think the Steel Plate is "lined" sort of too and would be appropriate. So, for in game or in an RP (role play), I'd stick with armors up to and including Steel plate. Beyond that you get into fancy armor from other races or armors belonging to daedra worshipers.

My suggestion is the ancient nord helm with Steel plate armour, boots, and gauntlets, steel shield if you use one.

Thanks to all, I appreciate your suggestions and help I think, I just stick to the studded leather armor and iron parts, it looks cool and it's more realcistic to run around in the mountains fighting dragons. Than in a big set of heavy armor.

As a Nord, I smithed my way up to Dragon Plate, then I realized I could craft Ancient Nord Armor at the skyforge. Its awesome heavy armor. I don't get the same comments from the guards as I did with the Dragon Armor but I do like the look of the Ancient Nord Armor on my character.
