When I'm bored I tend to log off of Skyrim and do something else IRL

i hate the thalmor so i go on the wiki and find the location of each important thalmor npc, hunt them down and kill them. even though they cant be killed. i get their health down as low as possible then i use the command "disable' on them so they go away then i pretend i killed them and escape the city they were in.

Or i would role play and play as if it were real life. i would sleep, eat at regular time. have a job, take breaks while on my job. have a house, visit some of the neighbors and have a chat with them and maybe join them for dinner, go to church every day at a certain time. Take a quick shower or bath at a nearby steam and also wash my cloths there as well. Take off your shoes in your house, cook your food over the fire while you go off and do something else, have certain cloths you wear to bed, dont rewear cloth you have not washed. There a bunch of fun things to do when trying to roleplay a normal citizen. but just make sure you sure you use the wait button when u do something. since it doesnt make sense that you just eat your food in a few seconds. let time pass. doing this had entertained me for days. then when you get bored of it go off and play skyrim normally for a month or so then when you come back and roleplay it all seems fun again.

I've been doing a lot of hunting lately when I get bored. That whole little area west of Whiterun is a pretty good spot to hunt in. I finally saw the headless horseman around there the other night, and he was being chased by two wolves lol.

Hunting sounds like fun, I'll give that a try tomorrow. The area around Falkreath looks like it's full of game...Maybe I'll give Derkeethus the day off.

Then again, I might get hungry..better leave him on standby at the tavern in Falkreath.

Attack the kids of the Orphanage in Riften, and then case them out of Riften until the wolves start chasing him, too and when I go hunting later I see him running around the Rift going "Get away! Get away!" while wolves, bears, bandits, trappers, hunters, and I even saw a troll chasing him. Now that was funny.

I knock books off shelves, food off tables with Fus Ro Dah, it's rather fun making a mess in Jorrvaskr with all the food and stuff to knock off and throw around. :D I also throw them into water if there's some nearby. Bodies too. It's fun to see them float off down the river to a massive waterfall.

I mostly go farm for ore and leather. I'll grab a housecarl, empty everything in my inventory that isn't a weapon, and go spelunking in Dwemer ruins til the both of us are almost unencumbered. Then I refine, craft, and enchant my spoils for cash.

That or pickpocket everyone I encounter.

In answer to your question, when I'm bored, I play Skyrim. If I get bored in Skyrim, it's because my character has gotten so powerful, it's no longer exciting. In that instance, I start over at level 1, and make a less powerful character, so it takes longer to get boring.
