No! It couldn't have been! Wow, that one threw me for a curveball. What a twist. :D

you actually write everything in the box on this website? I always use word and then cut and paste.

Do you have wordpad or the other generic one that comes with windows? There are also ones that are hosted on websites I believe. It takes me a day or two to write upa chapter and usually takes anywhere from two to four hours so I would probably just end it all if I lost all my stuff.

I have notepad, not sure about wordpad, but those are set up differently than word. On those you have a lot of writing space on one line but on word just get less so it's all sorted better. I kinda like writing it on here because it saves space on my computer which doesn't matter since it won't take much, but it's also like I just hit the send button as soon as I'm done instead of having to go and copy and paste and fix it if it looks weird.

This is true but I would select all and copy it just to be safe! You can always repaste if the forums have a hiccup

Sure, it's less of a hassle dovah, but what is less of a hassle to losing your entire written chapter? Think about it.

You guys have good points, and I have considered many times before the possibilities of losing all of my written work, but I just like it on here better for some reason. Maybe it's just that I've always done it on here.

Trust me, if you switch over to a processor, not only will you feel safer, but you will get used to it over time and then you will look back and ask, "why did I ever use the reply box?"

If I get word then I will probably switch over. I just really don't like the way notepad is set up. I only use that thing for making the matrix rain. XD

Okay, so I haven't been having trouble with the site for a while so maybe I'll get a chapter up tomorrow, I'm not gonna promise a chapter though because it's the 4th of July and I may be up pretty late tonight. But I'll try and see if I am able to get one tomorrow. If not there will be one Saturday.

So, I'm more or less over my writer's block, new chapter coming tomorrow. Hopefully.

Chapter 12: Solstheim
The heroes were flying across Skyrim in a Dwemer Airship that the Divines had given them. Their destination, Solstheim. Well. the Skaal Village. Argon had suggested that they go there and see if the Skaal had any idea how to defeat Apocapher. The Skaal had assisted with Argon's fight against Miraak another very powerful being, the First Dragonborn. So perhaps they knew how to defeat Apocapher. Argon was gonna have to fight this battle without his dragon powers. He longed to shout again, watch the people go flying back, freeze, burn, or even have their souls ripped from their bodies. He had always enjoyed the thu'um, it had become like a second nature for him. And now it was gone. It had been a year since he had last shouted but he was still not used to the idea of being a normal mortal again. Becoming Kriid hadn't helped much. Sure he enjoyed saving people's lives but he wanted to use his sword. Not sword as in metal pointy stabby thing. But sword as in weapon, the thu'um was his sword.
Argon's upset mood must have been detected as Sheogorath came over to talk to him.
"Are you alright?" Sheogorath asked
"Yeah, I'm fine. How's Thadon?" Argon asked
"He's doing fine. Garnin decided to forge him some armor and a small sword." Sheogorath replied
"Why?" questioned Argon
"Because, he attacked a very powerful dragon and held it off for at least ten minutes. Garnin decided to give him some armor and sword in case he does that again." Sheogorath answered
"I guess that makes sense." said a very confused ex-dragonborn
"Now, why don't you tell me what's really wrong with yah." said Sheogorath
"I miss it." Argon said
"Miss what lad?" asked Sheogorath
"Being dragonborn. The power, the strength, the skills. Now, I'm just Argon. One of Tamriel's ex-greatest heroes." Argon said
"Nonsense, you are still one of the greatest heroes. You just lost your power is all." comforted Sheogorath
"A power I need to save the world. A power I need to stop Apocapher from ending the universe. A power I no longer have." said Argon
"I can't say I know how you feel, I never lost my power, I actually gained it. But what I will say is this. When the Oblivion Crisis hit, I had no special powers or skill sets. I was some scrawny kid who had been put in jail without noticing. I had no power, no muscle, and I could barely even wield a sword. But that scrawny kid helped save the world. It was that scrawny kid who dove into the Oblivion Gate at Kvatch and closed it. That scrawny powerless kid who went in Mankor Camoran's paradise and killed him, his children, and took his amulet back. Well when I say it like that it sounds evil.... Okay, okay, I killed him, his children, and took the Amulet of Kings from him. Gosh, it sounds evil no matter how you say it. Anyways, that powerless scrawny kid who challenged Mehrunes Dagon at the battle of the Imperial City. That kid escorted Martin Septim to the temple where he sacrificed himself and ended the Oblivion Crisis. And it was that scrawny powerless kid who became the Divine Crusader and defeated Umaril. That kid who defeated Jyggalag, a daedric prince, and then became a daedric prince himself." said Sheogorath
"Are you calling me scrawny and weak?" asked Argon
"No, not at all. You are far from that. What I am saying, however, is that even though you are powerless, you shouldn't just say you can't do it. You can. What I'm saying is you don't need power to save the world or defeat the big badies in this world. You just have to try. You just have to fight. Even if death is looking at you in the eye and is right up in your face, or in your case the Void, don't stop fighting. Don't give up. That is what makes a hero. That is where you get the power to save the world." said Sheogorath
"Who would have thought that the Madgod would be so good at giving pep talks?" Argon laughed
"I have my moments." Sheogorath answered
"Thank you, grandfather. You're right. I shouldn't doubt myself just because I don't have powers anymore." said Argon
"Guys," Nerevar said coming out from inside the airship "you might want to see this."
********
"By the gods... No...." said Argon looking out the window from the bridge of the airship
"This is horrible..." said Garnin
"I've seen so many monsters before, but never one as bad as this...." said Fayen
"I've created madness before, but never something as mad as this." said Sheogorath his sloth in his new armor climbing on Sheogorath's shoulder
"This is just horrible." said Nerevar
The team was looking out at Raven Rock, but they weren't looking at Raven Rock, they were looking at what was in it.
A giant serpent as black as night was terrorizing Raven Rock. It was knocking down buildings, eating people, it was even digging tunnels underground which made the ground weak and liable to fall out from under someone's feet. Two buildings had already fallen through the ground, stranding the people inside. There were three gaping holes around and in the city. The death toll was about twenty.
"Now Apocapher can make creatures too?" said Argon
"Apparently... And I doubt this is even his worst creation. I don't want to see what he will come up with next." said Nerevar
"I loved Raven Rock, sure the people guards there were ungrateful ass holes, except the guard captain, but the place was nice." said Argon
"I can't believe this." Nerevar was severely distraught. The team was still above the ocean so they couldn't land the airship to battle the beast. They decided to try and get Nerevar's mind off of the situation by getting him to talk.
"Hey Nerevar, how about you tell us a story." said Argon
"What at a time like this? I don't think it's story time, Argon." said Nerevar
"Just humor me." said Argon
Nerevar sighed, "Fine. Let me think of one." said Nerevar
"Okay, I remember in my second life, after learning the Nerevarine and defeating Dagoth Ur, I went back to the Dissident Priests, and they had a bunch of Shrines there. Shrines to so many saints, of of the saints, was Indoril Nerevar. I went to the shrine to go pray and I was laughing as I was praying to myself, then one of the priests asked me if I wanted to make a donation of thirty-five gold to receive a blessing from Nerevar. I laughed and informed him that, no I will not pay money to bless myself because I can bless myself for free instead of having to give away money to get a blessing from who knows where because I'm I wasn't blessing anyone when they would go to that shrine." said Nerevar
"What did the priest do?" asked Argon, they were getting closer to Raven Rock, just a little bit closer and they could save the city
"The priest was confused for a minute and then he realized who I was. Then he asked me what kind of blessing I would like, and I said, I will take every blessing. He was confused and informed me that they could only give out one blessing at a time. I told him that I didn't want a ripoff blessing from them and wanted the real deal that would come directly from Saint Nerevar himself. So as if to slap the priest in the face, I blessed myself. Then, I wandered around the whole Dissident Priest chamber blessing everyone except for that priest who wanted me to pay to get a blessing from myself. The priest just walked off and that was it." said Nerevar
"Wow, well... That's a nice story. Using your power as Indoril Nerevar to embarrass a priest." said Argon
"I wasn't gonna pay for my own blessing." said Nerevar
"I guess that makes sense but did you have to embarrass the poor guy?" Argon asked
"Yes. That was part of the reason it was so fun." said Nerevar
"Well... We're at Raven Rock anyways... Fayen, park this thing in the harbor and we can go kill a giant serpent." said Argon
********
Fayen parked the ship in the water at the harbor and the team got out. The black serpent was weaved in and out of the ground. The serpent's tail was flicking about knocking people off their feet and making them fly into walls and be knocked unconscious. The serpent grabbed someone with it's mouth, threw them up into the air, and ate them alive.
"What in Oblivion is this thing?!" called someone
"Nerevar guide us!" yelled one of the Redoran Guards into the wind
"Sure thing." said Nerevar
The guard jumped at the sound of Nerevar's voice.
"You're here..." said the guard in awe
"Yes I am." said Nerevar
Captain Veloth ran up to the team. He was brutally wounded. He had dried blood on his nose with fresh blood slowly trickling out, a broken arm with part of the bone sticking out of his arm and his armor and his left eye was swollen and puffy.
"Are you okay? Do you need a potion?" asked Argon handing Veloth a healing potion
Veloth drank the potion and his wounds were healed. The bone magically disappeared and reappeared in his arm, the blood from his nose was gone, and his eye went back to normal.
"That's better. Thanks Argon." said Veloth, "Wait... You're dead...."
"No I'm not." said Argon
"But you died in the vortex the Shadow King created..." said Veloth
"No I didn't." said Argon
"But I know you did, a celebration for your sacrifice at the Imperial City was ruined by some guy on a dragon..." said Veloth
"True, but I didn't die. I managed to escape the vortex. Nobody knew until just a few days ago when I revealed myself." said Argon
"Well, that's wonderful. Do you mind shouting for me? I always loved the thu'um. Please? Just to help make a bad day somewhat not so bad." pleaded Veloth
"I can't I'm not dragonborn any more. That was one of the prices of living." said Argon
"Well, that's just great..." said Veloth
"Anyways, team, serpent time. Find the head. Kill it." said Argon
********
It was some trouble finding the serpent's head, they had to navigate around the tunnels and dodge its ever whipping tail. Finally they found it, it had just picked up another victim and threw it into the air. Right before the victim fell into the serpent's mouth, and arrow pierced through the bottom of the shoulder of the man's clothes. The arrow had missed the man, which it was meant to, and it hit the small area of the shirt under the man's shoulder and the force of the hit made the man go flying through the air. The arrow stuck into a building and the man hung there. He pulled out the arrow and dropped to the ground. He looked over at his savior Fayen and nodded at him. Fayen nodded back then he turned to the serpent and fired an arrow at its ugly head.
The serpent looked kind of like a worm. The tip of it's head was a giant open hole and in the hole circling its way down were rows and rows of sharp pointy teeth. It's breath smelled of elf and dirt and it had two bright red eyes above its mouth.
"Looks kinda like a dunmer." Argon thought
"Okay, so I guess just hit the thing and stuff. I've never actually had to fight a worm before..." said Argon
"I don't think anybody has." said Garnin
The team hit the worm and slashed it, but it didn't seem to be hurt. Argon tried stabbing it up through the chin but its body was so hard that nothing could pierce it. Even Fayen's arrows bounced right off.
"Fayen! The eyes!" Argon called
Fayen put an arrow on the bowstring. He pulled back and took a deep breath. He looked down the arrow to make sure he had the eye in his line of fire. The serpent's eye were tiny and hard targets, even a professional archer like Fayen would have a hard time hitting them. But not only was Fayen a professional archer, he was one of Tamriel's Greatest Heroes. He released the bowstring and the arrow spun whizzed through the air, spinning as it went. It collided with the serepent's eye and the beast yelled in pain. Fayen got to the other side of the serpent and going through the same process took out its other eye. Again it yelled.
Taking out its eyes didn't seem to do much though as it somehow sensed where the heroes were. Looking down the serpent, Argon could see shaking and shifting on the ground. The serpent's tail must have been under ground and it was thrashing about angered at the loss of its eyes.
"Guys! We have to hurry before the serpents tail brings down the temple!" Argon called
"You, know I actually have had to fight a worm before the foul beast was climbing around on my cheese. I zapped it with a small bolt of lightning and it died." Sheogorath said
"Sheo... This isn't the time." said Nerevar
"Wait, he might be on to something. Everyone hit this thing with lightning! Hurry!" called Argon
They all put away their weapons and started firing magic lightning at the worm. It seemed to be hurting it, but not by much.
"We need more lightning!!!" shouted Argon
"I have an idea!" shouted Sheogorath
"Wait no!" Argon yelled
Too late. Sheogorath blasted the beast with the Finger of the Mountain Spell. The team except Sheogorathw were sent flying back by the blast. Worm guts flew out every where as the beast's head exploded. The other four got up laughing.
"Finger of the Mountain. I forgot about that spell." said Sheogorath
"Nice job Sheo." said Garnin
"Thank you, thank you very much." said Sheogorath
"Thank you heroes, you just saved out city." said Veloth
"It was no problem. We're off now, stay safe." said Argon
The team got in their airship and took off.
********
"If Raven Rock was under attack here, then that means Apocapher has already been to Solstheim. Fayen, we have to make a detour." said Argon
"To where?" Fayen asked
"We're going to Tel Mithryn." said Argon

plops I knew it was argon

Why no chapters are being written these days ?

I decided to take a break from the forums for a while, I had been spending too much time on here. I'm trying to get myself to write another one soon, so maybe I'll do one within the next few days.
