Open The Bannered Mare Tavern

Meanwhile M'aiq the Liar, Kept him busy feeding him if, ands, and buts, all at the same time.
Rumours were all through out the air.

"What is it, Khajit?"

The tavern door swung open and for a moment for cold air rushed in and unsettled the fire. The door was closed hurriedly and the tall man stepped in. He was clearly a nord - a bald and bearded man adorned with heavy iron armor with a sword at his side holding a shield.

He walked up to the bar and placed his shield to one side. He glanced at the strange group all sitting together at the table and pondered. He ordered a drink and exchanged hushed conversations with the innkeeper.

He retired with his drink to the fireplace.

Belwas motioned the newcomer to join the table as well.

The man looked over, and knew he had nothing else to do tonight.
He got up from his bench by the fire and walked over to the table.
"Good evening" he said in a hearty accent -
"Can't say I've seen any of you around here before" He pulled up a chair and sat down hard.
"--Names Torbjorn... and you are...?"

My name's Belwas. The Bull. Say, you look like a lone travveler. You should do something about that. As it is right now, i need a companion as well. Belwas stretched his huge muscles on purpose, to show what he's made of.

"Well, I do a lot of travelling. What did you have in mind?" replied the man, his bearded moving up and down.
He leaned across the table, his white eye glistening.
"I'm always up for some companionship - and I have little plans of settling down"

Roaming Skyrim as part of my outfit. Show them Falmer what we are all about. I've a mind to visit Irkingthand, supposedly one of the main Dwarven cities. I am sure they left valuables.

Torbjorn looked eager -
"On two occasions have I encountered the falmer...
never before have I seen such an abomination." He recollected his thoughts.
"I pass many caves and revel in the opportunity for a shelter for the night, and also for possibilty to uncover treasure."
The nord exploded in a fit of rage and fear--
"You'd go in a cave for 5 minutes and come and 6 hours later, having wandered hopelessly into an old dwemer ruin and fighting for your life against those horrid creatures!"

The big man remembered himself and hushed down.
"If I had an opportunity to go back with my wits about me, I'd gladly return to show those falmer what for..."

With this, any man could conclude that Torbjorn was up for the challenge and would gladly join the Belwas' travelling outfit.

Because they are so horrid, We go together. I am still waiting on a man in the darkest armor I've ever seen, he's just gone upstairs to rest. On the morrow, I'll speak to him and see if he goes. Belwas is happy to have at least one companion for the task he gave himself...

Torbjorn is reminded how the day grows late, and knows if he were to venture home he would be isolated and would not get a decent nights sleep.
"Yes... rest.... I think I may have to rent a room for the night -- is that what you were planning on doing?"
He remembered the previous conversation-
"Oh yes and, what was this dark armour man like? I wish to know more about my potential travelling companions..."

he was... The shady type. Never told me his name, either. He looks dangerous though. About renting a room, that was what i was planning.

Torbjorn looked uneasy
"I'd prefer not to have my throat cut while I slept by a dim campfire... but if you think this guy checks out then he's ok by me."
He looked up at the staircase
"Still, it's getting late. I should get some rest... we'll talk more in the morning - I'll be in the tavern until midday"

He got up and walked over to the bar. He exchanged jokes and flirtations with Hulda, the barkeep, and then he picked up his shield and was off to bed

Belwas managed to stay in the inn all night, occasionally sleeping on the table.

(OCC: If we're gonna continue this story I think we should start a new thread in order to recruit some more group members. After that we could private the thread and move on with the story)

Ooc: agreed.

OOC: Ok so if you create the threat with whatever name (maybe something like 'recruiting RPers for group of adventurers' I dunno) and then give me a link on here. I think we should continue it from the last post on here i.e. we both stayed the night at the bannered mare

OOC: I will make the thread tonight after this post and link it to both of you. We will go from there together and make our story...

As Xidane was gathering his belongings to head up to the room Hulda had mentioned free-of-charge, he noticed the inn was quickly starting to fill...all the more reason to dismiss himself and go upstairs...

He saw the redguard Belwas motioning other travelers to his table and wondered just what it was that the man was planning, but that could wait for another day he decided as he headed up the stairs to FINALLY get some rest...

Once inside the room Xidane removed his hood from his head and placed a hand to the right side of his neck. The puncture wounds were swollen and hurt extremely to the slightest touch. He winced at the pain and knew tonight was going to be another long night of the same recurring

nightmare...
