SKYRIM PATCH 1.6 IS NOW LIVE FOR XBOX 360

I saw during short footage of dawnguard gameplay.

I crashed once but that's normal because my disk has a crack in it but it was pretty nice consideringm

no patch for the PS3 as of 6pm Cst

Actually, I wouldn't say people are being impatient. I've been around the web several times and it seems like a lot of people have been having trouble with the new patch, myself included D: But hey, you know what they say, sh** happens. I actually e-mailed Bethesda about what was happening so I'm sure they'll work to resolve it quickly. Ive been having similar problems to everyone else. I didn't even get on a horse, but like after 5-10 minutes worth of playing, the game crashes. Also, my menus give me notes and stuff like you get when you first start out the game, when really, I've been playing on characters levels 43 and 62. So, yeah, I'm far from the beginning lol. I tried emptying out the cache and other remedies people have been trying but no dice, all my files are like converted to 1.6 now. If anyone hears anything give me a shout.

Yeah not sure what the deal is. A lot of people are having problems some people are just fine. Its very odd.

I think those with problems should try uninstall and then reinstalling it

Haha nice. Do you know what I could do to uninstall it? I dont have the actual game downloaded to my hard drive but I did the like, clearing the cache but it didnt work :/

I tried it out briefly with no problems. Just did some hunting in the woods, and I loved it so far. Haven't tried any weapon other then the bow, I'll give that a shot tonight. Played for roughly 2 hours after the patch with no crash. I'm fortunate though as I've yet to experience any crashes or major bugs/glitches in the game since I got it at the midnight release.

Bows glitched the firing on it is unpredictable sometimes it fires right, sometimes the arrow moves in slow motion. and half the time it shoots off in a COMPLETELY different direction. melee combat is pretty solid tho.

Then I again consider myself fortunate. It takes some time to learn how to aim on horseback, and I'm still having trouble, but my arrows are yet to move slow motion or fly completely in a different direction. The hardest part for me is to aim while moving.

never said i was moving. i tried it moving and not moving, same results.

I also started having probs with bows, they are not accurate! I shot 5 arrows at a stormcloak when not moving at his chest and i missed!

Crossbow would make mounted combat work in an awesome way. When I attempted it against things other than game, as in a real fight with bandits, the only big plus was that the horse took most of the damage but my hit ratio was like zero (was using a mace at the time). But that is pretty much accurate with the DnD rules so I'm not complaining.

Nor did I say you were moving, or anything about you. I said that the hardest part for me was aiming while moving, and that I haven't encountered the arrows moving in slow motion or shooting in random directions. Simply stating my experience so far. Don't see where you got the idea I was talking about you.
