Rising at dusk​

Three years. Three long years... and it was all in vain.​

The sun is gone.​

One arrow, fired from a blood-coated Auri-els bow was all it took. Riots, Famine, Plauges; even at a distance it was unbearable to watch. many couldent stand the idea of humanity any more and joined them, others could no longer stand life at all.​

​

The remanents of the Dawnguard were blamed, any attempts to contact the world were ignored, mankind has given up any ideals of hope. The vampires rule with an iron fist, and every week there is a picking among each city to decide who will be fed upon. Those who attempted to flee were the the first to go.​

​

Many tried to fight back, they could not stop them before, but they could stop them now. An elder scroll has been discovered at the college of winterhold, and The arch-mage thinks that, with more of them, the effects of the Bloodened bow could be Reversed. But the only other known scrolls are deep within vampire controlled areas- Volkihar Castle and The Dreaded realm of Coldharbour. The stakes are high, but this is the only way to stop the total Anhihlation of mortalkind.​

Rules​

​

1. No god modding. Im sure you,ve all been through this before. If you havent, It means no super powerful characters. If your concerned that your character is, contact me and we can discuss.​

2. Keep it long, keep it going. Yes i know that you can be busy. but dont forget about the thread. If i dont hear from you for a fortnight without a notifacation, you will be removed from the thread.​

​

3. respect others. that means no controling other peoples chars (unless they have approved of it beforehand).Also no profanity (rude language), this explains itself.​

​

4. Dont break story. If something happens or someone talks to you in-story then take note of that. ​

​

5.Create NPC's for conversation if you'd like. Guards, civillians, enemies e.t.c. as long as you follow rule 4.​

​

6. take note that this will not be an 18+. This means no sexual themes, nudity or Extensive Gore. Who knows who will be watching.​

​

7.No dragonborn. this coincides with rule 1. Shouts are just too powerful.​

​

8. post your CC (character card). name, age, class, skills and all that lot.​

Background​

Brendela was a child of an Altmer and a nord, who went by the name of Cyrus & Angi. they were considered as outcasts of society, and as such Brendela spent her childhood in seclusion in skyrims southern mountains. At the age of five she got a new older stepbrother who went by the name of Thomas. The two were both too shy to talk to each other until they were both teens, when Brendela saved her stepbrother from a near-fatal attack from a bear. After this the two became the best of friends, even going on to call the other a sibling. Her mother was an expert at archery, and it seemed she was too; she spent many years honing her skills. This happy childhood went on for 10 years, until the cabin they were staying at was unfortunatly burned down by a rouge dragon. Unbeknownsted to her, her mother was killed during the attack, and her father and stepbrother were lost in the snow, alive but invisible to her vision. After trying and failing to find her family, Brendela decided to find civilisation for help, but was captured by a bandit patrol. She was held captive and was used a a rape tool for two months before she managed to overpower them, stealing them of their lives and valuables, including an enchanted elven bow. For thirty-five months she has now been traveling Southern skyrim, selling her skills as a mercenary and looking for her lost family.

I'll consider joining. Although a bloodstained arrow does not permanently block out the sun, you must cover the entire bow in the blood. Which, I believe you said later in the post. I'm just advising you correct the beginning of your post.

History: Leo was a son of a blacksmith in a small village in Cyrodiil. At the age of 12, he left to go adventuring. For a while he was a mercenary, and made a good name for himself in the Imperial capital. A natural with with weapons, Leo didn't do anything for money. If he was hired as a body guard, he would have made sure the person was not going against the Empire, thanks to the uncle he lived with. After a while, he just started doing in what he believed. At 15, He left to travel around Tamriel.

Personality: He may not be the smartest, but Leo always tries to do what he considers best for others. After so many travels, he became fatherly, though not having a family of his own. Anyone who knew Leo can tell you that he is a swell guy.

HISTORY

Childhood- During Varian's childhood he was spoiled. His parents were wealthy and he was being given anything he asked for. His parents spent little time with their child and he was bitter because of it. Varian was educated in the magical arts all throughout his childhood, he was in all the best schools and was a genius by 11. At this point Varian was plotting his parents murder. Realizing that he couldn't handle his families business alone he turned to one of his teachers for help. The teacher not wanting to be involved in this, told his parents about the plot. The parents, mortified, send their son to live in an orphanage in Black Marsh.

Teenage- Varian, at this point was an angry child. The Orphanage he was sent to wasn't an Orphanage. It was actually a place where the wealthy would buy and sell slaves. Varian was bought by a Nord by the name of Odin. The man walked into the place not realizing it was a place for slaves until he had bought Varian. Angered he burnt the place to the ground, killing all inside but the children and the other slaves. He had done this with a simple short sword. Odin, still wanted a son and gave Varian training as well as Steamed Mudcrab. Varian was no longer an angry child but a calm young man and he showed his thanks to Odin whenever possible.

Adult- Varian's parents had died from Ataxia when Varian was 17. Varian received all of his families wealth and property. Not wanting to leave Odin behind, he sold the property to a fellow Imperial. The Imperial, instead of giving money as payment gave his family heirloom. It was a sword with a diamond edge. Odin, was turning 67 at this point and didn't have much time left. The last thing Varian did for Odin was take him to his home city of Falkreath. When they reached the city gates Odin died. Varian stayed in Falkreath for a few years after that, clearing out bandit camps and necromancers, to keep his skills sharp. He soon grew tired of Falkreath and decided he wanted to see and do more than what he was. So one day he just left.

BTW, im thinking of starting this RP in the ruins of Helgen, as they dont want the vampiric government to find out. The place will have been cleared of bandits, and some of the members of the colege will be there as guardians of the elder scroll. If you have any other suggestions then im happy to hear them.

What are the borders of your story? Are we only in Skyrim or are we all over Tamrial?

Ill restrict the story to skyrim, but you can enter from another country if you'd like. Ill say the rest of tamriel has been under attack from vampires after the dissapearence of the sun, but none have been overthrown like skyrim.

Are the Blades and organization? Or have the vampires killed them?

They are holed up in Sky haven temple, and vampiric forces will be having slight trouble with the local forsworn, so they will still be around.

Ive not decided whether this will be after the events of the main questline, but what i know for sure is that it takes 30months (2 & a half years) after the Reforging an empire 2 thread (good roleplay run by simus, i recommend you check it out).
