Spoiler Reaper Gem Fragments

    I have all 6 of the fragments and i go to the lair to fight the reaper, but after i beat him the cage in that portal doesn't open. Are you supposed to be able to use that portal?

    Because if i did all that searching for the extra 3 shards just for three black soul gems, a daedra heart, and a iron battle axe i am not going to be a happy camper. but oh well at least the searching made me find all 10 journal places.

    The only other reward you get for that(that i found anyway) was all the gates that were closed in the cairn are now open and lootable. I was kinda angry too, thought their would be a better reward for searching far and wide for these little shards.

    damn i had a feeling that portal was just for decoration. i was hoping for a unique weapon or mask

    I didn't even waste my time with that guy after reading this. But getting the necklace from Jiub was worth the search for the pages. The horse was an awesome find to; and now i can call 2 dragons haha

    Glad I didn't waste my time doing this in the soul cairn. Though I did find four shards anyway, while helping out Saint Juib. Arvak is an indispensable member of my team now, and when I need to summon a dragon you can bet it's Durnehviir that gets the call and not that snarky bastard Ohdaviing.

    All told, The Soul Cairn was as rewarding as it was annoying.

    Its just a random thing to do in the Soul Cairn, it didnt even pop up as a quest for me I heard about it somewhere else and decided to go looking.
