Is Dawnguard fun without vampires?

Is Dawnguard fun if you don't go vampire lord? I didn't like the werewolf form in the main game, because it was slow to change and didn't benefit from skills. Also, evil just leaves a bad taste in my mouth. I also won't be using crossbows, so that's not a positive for me.

Well the change time is about the same time for changing into a VL with the WW

Also I'll add that the new WW perk tree makes it a lot more interesting.

But overall know, dawnguard is still a lot of fun with or without WW or VL. A lot more items, quests, and locations. If you like Skyrim for what it is, then you'll definitely enjoy dawnguard.

Vampire lord form is really satisfying if you're an evil character, Especially if you do necromancy/have vampire followers and summoning 2 gargoyles.

Take out the sun with Auriel bow and the sun and sky turns red and black and demonic like, like Oblivon when approaching an Oblivion gate, turning into a vampire lord at that point in time is even more cool.

I don't even think you need to play as an evil character to enjoy the vampire lord form. I don't consider my character to be evil.... Although my character is listener of the dark brotherhood, guildmaster of the thieves guild(IF you call that evil. I don't) I just do the dark brotherhood quests for the story and gold and some of them are pretty cool. The vampire lord form doesn't make or break the DLC and i don't think werewolves do either, it's just a great expansion for an awesome game. What matters most is how much fun you have while you play it.

You don't like evil? Man you are boring

The first character I played through Dawnguard with was not a werewolf, refused to become a vampire, and is certainly classified as a goodie-goodie. That being said, Dawnguard was still awesome. I'm sure if you never try out the new perks and everything, you're missing out, but it was still really fun.
