A pen and ink artist, Figure studies mostly, working on an idea of some landscapes, abstracts too. Really need to take some better pictures of myself or find the good ones somewhere.

Took me 40+ years to become cool but thats cause all my geeky tendencies are ok now, I still think fast and often ramble, I like a good debate.
If intimidated by intelligence then just pass me by, just be nice about it, like "Um no, but thank you", not like running away and screaming "NOOOooo...!!!!!" hahaha

An Artist and philsopher, Veteran and geek, I truely enjoy laughing and walks with my dog. I am a peacemaker and feel all conflicts can be reasoned out. I am eclectic in my interests. For me, a first date no-no is:

Telling me how your religion can save me, and assuming that I don't understand the need for faith in my life. I am smart and I have explored alot of the world and myself in the years I have been here. I have an inner peace about me that I have found without religion. I don't need to have the excuse of a higher power and fear of retribution in a afterlife to keep me in line. Its enough to know there is only one time through this existance to know that a better man is one that trys to help others on their path through this life. I have seen many a christian who says on sunday one thing but when a person of need is in front of them does something else. And I will not discuss it further, your beliefs are your beliefs feel free to have them.

That would depend on whether you wanted me to look manly or funny, introspective, or loving. basically I like to let it all just flow. I am able to cry and am very compassionate. I am small and don't tend to be a fighter, not that I can't, I feel its a weakness to need to. I can and do find humor in tons of situations including those of my own life. I know alot of things, cause I am constantly questioning why.


I secretly want to be:

Steven Hawking with out the need for the chair.


I want to be with people who want to be:

Who they are all the time, not change because people around them are different or confrontational in their beliefs. Please be understanding, but not a chameleon.


An infatuation of mine:

Writing, I have to admit it made me expand my area's of interest, and has sparked a bit of creative juices. I want to draw again. I need a good desk.


If I won the lottery and quit my job, I would:

Do my art and relax all the time after paying it forward to a list of people who were there without question when I was in need.


One thing my mother would want you to know about me:

I play video games, its a hobbie. And even though its not "manly" like cars and golf, its much cheaper than both of those. And more fun, wanna play? I have extra controllers


I want to come home to:

A soft hug, a gentle kiss, dinner almost ready, my shows on dvr, my xbox on and setup for the game of the evening, the pitterpitter of my dogs feet and a publishers clearing house check for 10 million dollars... seriously I only care that its not empty and devoid of love, all the rest I'll try to help with.

An awesome place I've visited: Maui, Hawaii. I still can't believe the breathtaking beauty that exists there.

My perfect Sunday: Playing Magic: The Gathering with my boyfriend and our friends. (Luckily, this pretty much is every Sunday in my house.)

The movies I've watched the most times: Probably Jurassic Park. I was obsessed with dinosaurs when I was young, and when Jurassic Park came out, it was like all my dreams had come true. It's still one of my favorite movies.

My life history in 5 sentences or fewer: My childhood was sheltered. My adolescence was emotionally volatile. My early adulthood was full of bad relationships. Nearing thirty, my hopes of ever having a fulfilling career are at an all-time low, but I have the best relationship I could have ever asked for.

My first concert / My dream concert: My first concert was Gowan; I was one rockin' five-year-old. My dream concert would be Silverchair. I've seen them three times already and they put on an incredible show, but it's uncertain if they will ever tour again, which breaks my heart.

Obscure knowledge I possess: Many people think that crop circles are created by aliens, but really, they're just Chuck Norris's way of telling the world that sometimes, corn needs to lie the hell down.

I have a weakness for guys/girls who: Make me laugh.

For me, a first date no-no is: Trying to get me into bed.

I want to be with people who want to be: Positive. If a friend does nothing more than pollute my life with negativity, I see no reason for them to continue being a part of my life.

An infatuation of mine: Perfume. Specifically, Black Phoenix Alchemy Lab perfume. I've tried nearly 500 of their blends, and currently own about 25 bottles and a couple hundred samples.

If I won the lottery and quit my job, I would: Buy a bigger house and fully furnish and decorate it myself. Become a benefactor for my local animal shelter (provide funding to move to a larger location, hire full-time staff, and purchase supplies as needed). Make it my mission to own a bottle of every single Black Phoenix Alchemy Lab oil in existance!

One thing my mother would want you to know about me: I'm lazy.

How would you describe yourself, to a stranger?

I am a musician first. I love to sing and write music. Nothing in my life matters more than my music. I would be more than happy to live in my car with nothing but my guitar and the clothes on my back; barely scrapping by with the money from playing to buy a couple meals a day. In fact, I think that is exactly how I want to live now that I'm thinking about it.

I have a compassionate heart, and I try to give anyone who needs it a lot of love. When someone is sad, I always try to cheer them up with a joke and a smile. I'm an eternal optimist which sometimes causes me a lot of grief. I can't help putting on a smile and laughing happily despite the depression that can sometimes linger in my heart. That's where my music comes in once again!

Another thing you should know about me is that I'm a Christian who used to be an Athiest. However, I cannot stand the judgemental attitude that some of my "religious" brothers and sisters take. I am for gay-marriage which a lot of people in the church would burn me alive for. But I say screw the church, Jesus told us to love people, and gay people are still people in my book!

Basically what I do every Sunday. Go to church with my friends. Spend time with friends. Play music with friends. Eat tons of food with friends.

The Pirates of the Carribean movies. I still do love everything about those movies I can't even explain it. I might have a slight man crush on Johnny Depp also!

I was born to a loving family, but grew up resenting them (my mom was a judgmental condesending woman and my father was feminine and never taught me the right way to be a man). When I went to college I finally began to understand and love them. Then, I got kicked out of college becuase I spent more time socializing than I spent in the books. So here I am, working a job I hate, living with my parents, and going nowhere with my life.

My first concert / My dream concert:

The first concert that I went to was a Switchfoot concert. They were and still are one of my favorite bands. My dream concert.... I would love to see Chopin play one of his piano sonatas or one of his nocturnes, but I would have to find a way to resurect him somehow

That one time in high-school when my school was having "Super-Hero Dress Up Day" for Spirit Week and my friend Steven and I decided it would be awesome for me to dress up as "Truent Boy." How would you describe yourself, to a stranger? Where to start? I have many interests. The ones I'm most passionate about are anything art/craft related, photography, and music. I like to think that I'm a decently spontaneous, obnoxious, and strange person, although it annoys me when people go out of their way to call themselves "weird" or "strange". Call me a hypocrite, I don't care.

The movies I've watched the most times: Probably Disney movies, haha! Lion King is my all time favorite movie. It's also the only movie that's ever made me cry.

My life history in 5 sentences or fewer: I'm the oldest of 3 children. I partially blame myself for my parents' divorce. I have minor trust issues due to unpleasant situations with "friends" that have happened from when I was in elementary school up until I graduated high school. I never thought I would be happier pursuing a major other than Music Education, but I am loving Photography. My academic future is very foggy because I'm unsure if I'll be able to go to school next year because of the cost of tuition.

My first concert / My dream concert: My first concert ever was TSO when I was 10 (I think?). My dream concert, though, involves Tool and Green Day. Which will never happen.

If I won the lottery and quit my job, I would: Use it toward tuition and paying off my student loans, then do the same for my brother and sister. After, I would buy a nice little house and put a small darkroom/developing lab in my basement. If there's anything left after that, I'm using a small amount to buy art supplies. I was born in Finland and here I still live and maybe I will live rest of my life. My childhood was very rough, but I managed. I got to computer nerd school (... lol) at year 2009 and I'm going to graduate after two weeks. End of the story.

I don't know my first concert, so it must have been bad. I love going to concerts and almost every concert is like my dream concert. Thank god my favorite band does many gigs here where I live so I can see them often!

I'm calm, patient and insightful. I'm more intelligent than your average person, but I'm no genius. My best quality is my keen perception. I can tell what a person is feeling or thinking by looking at them. I like to study people's mannerisms and gestures. Sometimes they catch me looking at them and it makes them uncomfortable, but I don't mean anything by it. I'm a good listener and a shoulder to cry on, but very soft-spoken and introverted. Most people mistake my shyness for indifference, but I'm much more empathetic than I appear to be. I admit my worst quality is my impatience when it comes to ignorance.

An awesome place I've visited:
I went to Disney World when I was a snotling, and had a good time. Would I go back now? BLEEECH! I would like to visit Japan. I've got a fascination with feudal Japanese history. Plus, I'm a ninja.

Doing nothing but playing with my american bulldog, Max, and playing Skyrim.

Anything made by Stanley Kubrick or Akira Kurosawa. I love horror movies (especially classic horror), and artsy-fartsy movies. But if you try to get me to watch a musical besides Rocky Horror I swear I will kill you.

My life's history in 5 sentences:
I was a spoiled brat as a child, but grew-up fast as a teen. High school was awkward because I didn't belong to any peer group (I wasn't popular but I wasn't a "nerd" either), but I didn't have it NEARLY as bad as many of the people I went to school with. I took archaeology in college but eventually dropped-out because I started smoking pot and hanging-out with the wrong people. Eventually, I got all my priorities back in order and fell in love, but we all know how that first love goes, right? Now I just sit around all day playing video games.

My first concert/My dream concert:
I've never been to a concert. It's not my scene. But if I had to go to one it would be a Metallica or Tenacious D concert. Yeah, I like metal (but only if the singer doesn't sound like a pig on a farm getting pushed through a fence, if you know what I mean).

I know a lot about the occult and the paranormal. As such, I have a hard time believing in most of it.

How 'bout the one where we were tripping on acid and went on a four-hour road trip. Now that was an adventure, and thinking back on it, also completely stupid. Man, I used to be wild.

Live simple and travel the world. Who really needs a big mansion, or six, and a 500,000 dollar super-car? I just want to live comfortably.

I was always a huge tom-boy when I was little. I wasn't ever "butch", but I've always been tall and athletic, and none of the other girls ever messed with me. I also studied martial arts. I was Missouri State champion in Tae Kwon Do, in my weight class, and I've also taken Judo classes. I know how to throw a mean right cross, as well as a side-kick.

I'm a prejudiced, ignorant, asshole. At the same time I'm open minded, and generally good natured. Yes, I'm a man of contradictions. I also have a rather extreme will to live.

The summit of a desert mountain at sunset. I don't remember which one, but after hiking for two days it was well worth the view.

Going for a run early in the morning, and then for a drive up into the mountains so I can draw all day. Then come home and play some Skyrim

Kingdom of Heaven, Robin Hood, The Phantom of the Opera and Thor

My life history in 5 sentences or fewer:
I'm the oldest of eight children, and have been with my fiancee for near ten years now. I had a typical rebellious phase during my late teens, where I got expelled from the same school two years in a row. I'm now on track to become a teacher, and my life is consumed with my art, my obsession for epic fantasies / romances and a newly found love of travel.

My first concert / My dream concert:
I'm not too nuts on live music, I'd rather have a good surround sound system, a lounge and some wine

Obscure knowledge I possess:
I retain a rediculous amount of information I've accumulated over the years. It's not really obscure, but I have a large knowledge base of technical stuff about drawing, painting, printmaking and ceramics.

I have a weakness for guys/girls who:
Guys who are taller than me with a ruggedness about them. And recently I have become rather fond of beards, though I hated them not even a year ago :/

For me, a first date no-no is:
In all honesty, I haven't been on many dates lol. My fiancee snapped me off the market when I was 16 lol.

What I would bring to show and tell:
My sketchbooks (I would never show them before. Now I like people looking at them)

A story you should remind me to tell you:
How I winded up nearly breaking my arm trying to show off in front of my fiancee when I was 17.

I secretly want to be:
A hermit in the mountains with no contact to society so I can draw and play Skyrim all day and not be asked why.

I want to be with people who want to be:
Not afraid to be themselves, and don't bring others down with their problems. They also have to be willing to participate in all my stupid nerdy outings.

An infatuation of mine:
I looooooove the smell of old books and the woody smell of pencils in an artshop.

If I won the lottery and quit my job, I would:
Open a studio and teach art all day. And not just to arrogant high school kids who are only doing it because "Art is a bludge."

One thing my mother would want you to know about me:
I'm a bitch? Lol. She calls me that all the time

I want to come home to:
quiet. It's that simple

How would you describe yourself, to a stranger?
Loyal and analytical to a fault, a believer of treating people as you wish to be treated, enjoys a good laugh, a non-believer in taking things too seriously, and btw, I'm analyzing all my answers at least twice before I post.

The Badlands and Mount Rushmore in South Dakota I believe, and Laguna Seca Raceway in Monterey, California.

My perfect Sunday:
A good cup of coffee or two with my wife, reading whatever I feel like reading, watching a motorcycle race on the TV if there is one, posting on Skyrim forums.

I was born and raised in Honolulu, Hawaii. I'm a mix of Irish, Hawaiian, Chinese, and Portuguese. I stuttered as a child and I still do now, just not as bad. I have two lovely nieces and four handsome nephews. For my Master's Degree, I wrote my thesis on. . .stuttering.

KISS / AC/DC and Led Zeppelin, both in their prime, and with Bon Scott on lead vocals.

Garbage / I got to go to it a pile of my mates and me drove down to see metallica and lots of other metal bands in Dublin a goodly few years ago. Madness ensued.
