Yes. There just has to be something like us out there. No way are we the ONLY species playing Skyrim-type games or eating pizza. We can't be the only ones. If we are, that's too depressing to contemplate.

Yes I believe in extraterrestrials. I have my own theory, some may call me a crackpot, but I believe we are nothing more than some sort of experiment gone terribly wrong.

has to be something out there other then us, be silly to think we are the only planet that has living things on it right ? i have also seen some strange stuff in the sky ( loads of white floating orbs of light ) if i didnt tell my friends to look at them no one would have believed me. they was far to high to be planes and moved in strange ways ... but i doubt it will be proven in our life time what is a bit of a shame

I lol'ed. :D That guy and Bill Birnes.. always good for a laugh and a half. Their almost child-like enthusiasm and suspension of disbelief is both comical and endearing. Not that they don't make some valid arguments, and I myself have reason to believe we may be visited by extraterrestrial entities, but still.. there's a fine line between belief and fanaticism.

In a universe we are just beginning to understand, it is pretty naive to think we must be the only life in it, especially when we let our religious views cloud our common sense judgements. According to nearly all of the experts on this subject, it would be statistically impossible for there not to be alien life out there somewhere. Whether that alien life is intelligent however, is another matter entirely. Although I must say it would be pretty sad if we were the only intelligent life in the universe.

But I'm so sick and tired of all these ancient astronaut theorists saying that aliens did EVERYTHING. My major in college was archaeology. Archaeologists have found NOTHING to support any of these "theorists" claims. We haven't found any alien bones, rusting tri-corders or one shred of REAL evidence.

We know for a FACT that pyramids were built by man. There are markings in the upper chambers of the pyramids at Giza that show which work forces built each part of the pyramid, and they match the burial chambers of the workers that were buried adjacent to the pyramid. Plus, they were not built as a monument to any god. They were built to house the dead body of a MAN. The most important man in Egypt at the time, the Pharaoh, and his royal family. If the aliens were responsible for the pyramids construction then you'd think they would want more credit for it, right?

The ancient astronaut theorists have even gone so far as to say that the aliens helped the Nazis during WWII, by giving them rocket technology. First of all, if the aliens helped the Nazis, then I say F**K the aliens. Second, we know FOR A FACT that Robert Goddard invented the first rocket engine in 1926, so it wasn't even developed in Germany!

They also claim that the Mayans were "so advanced"! Yeah, right. They were a STONE AGE CIVILIZATION!! The ancient Greeks and Romans were WAY ahead of the Mayans guys. Handmade clockworks, anyone? Also, do you realize that the Mayans didn't even account for the leap year! So, according to them the end of our great cycle ended MONTHS AGO, not on December 21, 2012. Sorry :p

Oh, I could go on forever disputing these claims, so I won't, because I'm boring myself at this point. It's just too easy.
