[EoF] Extermination of the Falmer

At the Bannered Mare in whiterun, two men are gearing up for travel and fighting. If asked, the big Redguard Belwas the Bull, tells you they are hunting the Falmer.

OOC: I'm in, guess you beat me to it lol I'll on also be uploading a file of my "updated" Character Card on this first post for any new ppl who may join...I suggest we all do the same, but it's totally on you if you decide to.

Ooc: How do I post my character card? I'm new. I posted it on the character card forum and would like to join you.

All right. If you could just tell me your character name and skills, i'll be wholly happy

OOC: Yeah I might have to do something like an 'updated' card and upload it because the profile picture is of my guy at the beginning of the day, and I was gonna do another nord who looked a lot like him but slightly different. For now I'll just leave it though.

There was a banging on the stairs, no one could see the man coming but they knew who it must be;
It was Torbjorn - his armour clanging against his sword and his helmet slung along his belt. He reached the bottom of the stairs and consulted his canteen for a morning drink only to find it empty.

He threw a glance at Belwas who was sitting at the same table as the night before. Torbjorn walked over and sat down beside him - he looked tired.

"Good nights sleep?" He asked

OOC: This should give you some idea as to my character

[DREAM SEQUENCE] - Once again Xidane finds himself walking alone in the dark, so dark in fact that he couldn't see his own hand infront of his face. Somewhere in the distance there is what seems to be the sound of a beating heart getting louder and louder. In some awkward way there is a bright trail of blood along Xidane's path that seemed to glow in the darkness. As if gliding along the path, Xidane continues to follow the sound until it reaches an overwhelming volume. Just as Xidane thinks he has found the source of the noise, everything goes quiet and pitch-black and he awakes with a jolt covered from head to toe in sweat...

Xidane awoke feeling rested but yet totally drained and he was growing hungrier by the minute, so bad in fact that he instantly rolled over and vomited in the bedpan placed under his bed. "What in the name of Nocturnal is wrong with me?!" he muttered quietly to himself...

After regaining his composure and gathering his things, Xidane headed back downstairs with the intention of meeting back up with Belwas. The bard's music echoed through-out the inn along with the chatter of mixed conversations going on. The smell of freshly cooked food made him sick to his stomach...

Belwas sat dining on his breakfast, boiled eggs and dark brown bread. Then, he saw Xidane stumbling out of his chamber. When the man in the black hood sat down, Belwas commented; "You look a bit unsteady, sonething wrong?" To his other companion, who had joined them as well, he said; "Oh, i slept fantastically. These tables really augument rest," Belwas grinned.

OOC: Should've made my character a werewolf :L it would really suit him - I'll probably add it to the story when we're quite far in

"I thought you would have rented a room!" Roared Torbjorn with laughter. His breakfast arrived - 3 rashers of bacon and 2 fried eggs. He ate like a horse, and often got bits stuck in his beard. To everyones' relief, once he had finished, he rubbed his face clean with the tablecloth.

"Hungry, are you? My plan was to get a room, but i never really got the chance. Did you sleep well?"

Torbjorn was about to reply that he did not have a good sleep because he was excited about adventuring, but he remembered his position and wasn't about to admit that to the others, who were obviously well versed in the art of killing and treasure hunting.

"--oh yes! Yeah... I slept like a log, let me tell you."

Torbjorn looked to the side and remembered the events of the night before. He learned forward across the table directing the others. His amulet came out and dangled over his empty plate.
"Although... did any of you hear some strange noises last night? It sounded like a lot of murmuring and shaking... and then it stopped"

"i heard nothing, though i was awake for a long time. Must be the nerves about going out there again. I envy you, i always get nervous..."

Torbjorn felt relieved to here he wasn't the only one;

"Well, I'll admit I've felt a touch of the nerves. Seeing the dwemer ruins...the falmer... all that stone."
He paused.
"It just reminds me of Markarth, that's all. Those damn reachmen - they sicken me with their black magic."

OOC: Btw, just to make the story clearer - when my character is speaking you should picture a nord accent like Jarl Balgruuf - that typical Eastern Euro/viking kind of thing

Xidane reached the bottom of the stairs and quickly noticed Belwas seated at the same table where they had first spoken. Seated with him, in the chair he himself sat the previous day, he noticed a tall brawny man with a cleaned head and a scruffy beard wearing iron armor with his helmet attached to his belt. As he walked towards the two men he caught the eye of Hulda behind the bar who gave a quick wink in which Xidane returned with a nod.

Putting his rough night and hunger pains aside best he could, he greeted the men "Hail!" he said in a calm, yet awkwardly friendly tone as he took a chair from a near-by table and pulled it up to join the two gentlemen "As promised, I would like to continue our previous conversation and say I am sorry for the hasty retreat" he said to Belwas casually as he took his seat with a slight glance towards the stranger seated next to him "I've been feeling a bit under-weather you see" he concluded...

OOC: When my character speaks, try to think of Faendal with a little Gambit(X-men) tone(thick Cajun) with ALOT of sarcasm!

Torbjorn had seen the man in the black armour for the first time. He was not reassured until the man spoke to him with friendliness and he knew he would be alright, if a bit troubled.

Torbjorn noticed there was a mammoth in the room - the 2 men (Xidane and himself) had not yet speaken or even introduced himself. With an almost naive approach, Torbjorn put forward his hand across the table and spoke:
"Ironfist- uh Torbjorn Ironfist" he grinned "Pleased to finally meet you -- you want something to eat?" The man gestured his big hands towards Hulda, who grinned at him and he grinned back.

"Under the weather, you say? Torbjorn and i here, are going to a Dwemer ruin soon. Can you handle coming with us?"

Torbjorn nodded at the Bosmer while Belwas was speaking. Torbjorn was used to a mercenary existance and took the leadership of Belwas like a dog to its master

No one seemed to notice him as he lingered in one of the dark corners of the inn, as three strangers appeared to be the main source of interest for the locals. His dark skin and armor made it easy for him to stay hidden, but his interest in the conversation had only grown since he had silently entered the inn. He watched the group around the table closely as they spoke, but focused his attention to the one in the nightingale armor. "A nightingale?" he said quietly to himself. He had heard from one of his sources that a wood elf in nightingale armor had somehow escaped Helgen, but he did not believe him. Deciding to make himself known, he walked up to the bar, sat down, and tried to appear interested in the conversation.

Ooc: My character sounds like all the other male Argonians in Skyrim. I liked their voice and find it fitting for my character.
