Diplomatic immunity NO TRAP DOOR?

    So when I get to the part where I'm supposed to go through the door, I can find the keys and the arrow points to where the door should be but there is no door underneath the arrow. Has anyone experienced this glitch? Of course I cannot progress any further until i figure this out and I'm trapped in the palace.

    there are two thalmor guards that have the key ,I don't know why the trap door isn't there,you have to release the prisoner and Malborn and two guards appear ,you have to kill the guards to get the key.

    Yep, I have played through this quest before on my Xbox but I have since started playing the pc version. I have the key but no door to unlock.

    It sounds like a graphics glitch. When you put your cursor over where the trap door should be do you see the option to activate a trap door?

    Dagmar, no there is nothing there when I run my cursor over the arrow for the door. There isn't even an outline for where the door should be. Does anyone know how to fix this? I have tried uninstall/install with no success.

    Did you install the game from a disc or through Steam?

    I got it through Steam. I do have some mods from the Steam workshop, maybe they are doing something?

    It's a possibility. Try uninstalling your mods one by one in reverse order to see if any of them are creating the problem.
