Companions wont stop talking to me!?

Aela the huntress and Skjor wont stop talking to me. They would unsheathe their weapons walk towards me and then sheathe them and start talking. It happens over and over again. they would follow me everywhere and keep doing the same thing. They even interrupt conversations and prevent me from doing quests. please help!

I'm having the same problem to except along with that a guy in that works or owns Whiterun Stables is glitched to. Shadowmere is about about a foot away from him and it made a complete copy of him along with another one but he is waist deep in the ground. I can still talk to him and everything so its not that bad. If I knew how to fix it I would no doubt tell you or anyone else.

Check your bounties. All members of the Circle have generic Guard faction which means they will approach you if you have a bounty for any Hold as if they were a Guard about to arrest you. Since they don't actually have any arrest dialogues though all they will do is draw their weapons, approach you and initiate their generic dialogues. Once you pay off all your bounties they will leave you alone.

If you mean Louis Letrush (he neither owns nor works at the Whiterun Stables - he's the NPC that gives you the quest for the horse Frost at the Bee and Barb in Riften). It's a known bug for him to show up and replicate at Whiterun Stables. If you are on a PC you can just delete them through the console. Otherwise I don't know of any solution to getting rid of him or his clones.

I'm not sure about Aela and Skjor, but if you have a bounty that might make them a bit wild, I know thats the case with Vilkas and Farkas.
If that isn't the case, try leaving whiterun through the gates, waiting 24 hours and then going back in. Maybe fast traveling out of the city, and then walking back there without fast travel? I've never heard of these glitches, so I'm just shooting blanks here. Hopefully you get it sorted. I know how annoying it was having Vilkas and Farkas follow me around constantly.

I was losing my mind on how annoying it was and it got worse when I tried to become a werewolf. Thank you for the help.
