can't decorate Whiterun home

    I love Whiterun so I bought a house there, but I can't decorate it! I read the guidebook and it told me to talk to the steward but when I do there isn't any option to buy furnishings or anything. Please help.

    I purchased the house after I defeated the dragon for the Jarl. When I did the Steward had the option for the furnishings. I believe you can only buy the house after this quest anyway, so this is quite odd. I didn't have this issue, maybe someone else will be able to help.

    Maybe try going to the house, then returning to the Steward?
