Are crossbows exclusive to the Dawnguard faction?

    I was under the impression that crossbows were only going to be available for the vampire hunters. But I have recently heard that you can get the crossbow regardless of who you side with.

    Also I was wondering the same thing for the Dragonbone weapons.

    Can somebody confirm this?

    On the gameplay released now he has a crossbow and also turns into a Vampire Lord, but who knows if this is the full version of the DLC or not. i doubt they would lock them from you because you are a Vampire Lord, maybe there is a unique crossbow exclusive the Dawnguard Faction.

    I think it will be the Dawnguard who use them but if you kill one of them youd be to take his crossbow

    Dragonbone weapons will be under Dragon Smithing. As far as crossbows is concerned, I think they will be like loot but I'm not sure. I also heard that you may be able to craft them?

    I hope I can get a crossbow for my assassin since this would be the ultimate how-much-damage-can-I-do-with-this-one-bolt-and-not-care-about-reloading-time-weapon :D

    I'm assuming you can loot one off a dead body. As far as getting one without starting the Dawnguard quest, I don't think so. We'll find out soon, however.

    Yes, it has been confirmed you CAN craft dragon cross-bows but there is an exclusive crossbow that is only obtainable through the dawn guard quest line. Details about this crossbow have not been released yet

    I should think both, a lot of people wan't to side with vampires and would make no sense for them to be exclusive to a single faction after all it is a new weapon type
