I just had an experience with the Companion's glitch in which Vilkas thinks he's a guard, notices you have a bounty and runs up to arrest you with weapons drawn, but alas as he has no guard dialogue all he does is force an ordinary conversation on you again and again and again.

Yeah I know, a pretty common glitch, but I still felt this experience was worth sharing as it began not in Whiterun where the Companion's live, but in the Reach as the random encounter generator decided to have him and Ria kill a Sabre cat together. Not to worry, thinks I, I'll just get rid of him. So I start sprinting, cross a river, climb a few mountains and eventually reach my destination of Valthume. So I start talking to the ghost about the terrible evil about to break out and what we can do to prevent it...

...And then Vilkas opens the door because it was really important he tell me: "You're a talkative one aren't you?" He followed me halfway across the Reach to tell me that. I had to reload because he wouldn't let me talk to the ghost about the terrible evil, rushed through the dialogue in about twenty seconds and raced into the dungeon. Vilkas eventually caught up to me and had to be console code killed to make him shut up and leave me alone, but he managed to kill an awful lot of monsters before he reached me.

This one time I killed the Emperor, left him naked, and added a giant's toe to his inventory.

Yesterday I finally encountered the infamous flying mammoth glitch. My character had just fast traveled to Cradlecrush Rock, the giant camp, on her way to do a Dawnguard sidequest. And when she got there she was greeted by the sight of three mammoths and a giant floating in mid-air for about 2 minutes before slowly levitating back down to the ground. Cracked me up.

You know that eye rolling commonality that is a guard disparaging the weapon they currently have equipped thanks to randomly picked dialogue? I had an Imperial soldier take it to the next level. My character has all her perks sunk into sneak, archery and alchemy, meaning she is in really serious trouble when a bear comes after her. She ended up running for her life to the Fort in Riften she'd helped take for the Imperials.

Once the bear was dead, one of the Imperial archers with his bow equipped turned to another Imperial archer with his bow equipped, right in front of me, another Imperial archer with her bow equipped and said: "I'm still sore where I took that arrow. I hate archers."

Needless to say the other Imperial archer was not impressed and told him to quit his bellyaching.

Welcome to the forums. Enjoy your stay.

I had entered Alftand from the above-ground lift and proceeded to clear the way to Yag. I had turned to run up for the chest by her corpse when I heard, "That's it? That's all you got?!" ...When I turned it was an Imperial Courier running through Alftand to get to wherever he needed to go... Bloody couriers, I tell you.

Ah yes, I encountered yet another infamous glitch at Lakeview Manor the last time I played.
My character went down into her basement to do some smithing - I have the full set up built down there, it's very convenient that way - and in front of the altar, on the side on the way into the smithing room, I have a mannequin dressed up in some simple hide armor as a placeholder until I can either smith or find something better quality. Well on this day, I went down there to find that not only had the mannequin glitched off of its pedestal, it was stark naked and standing off to the side. In front of an altar with Talos and Akatosh built onto it no less.
So after staring at it for a minute or so in shock, and also kinda hope that it would fix itself as they sometimes do, I apply the fix which is to take all the armor off it and put it back onto the mannequin. Went back to normal after that.
I've also run into this glitch with the mannequins in the basement at Honeyside, only it was much creepier. Those times they were not only off their pedestals and naked, they were breathing as if alive. Since then to this day, though after re-outfitting them it hasn't happened since, I've been hesitant to go down there and am wont to do my alchemy and enchanting at Lakeview, where the mannequins may move out of place but atleast don't creep me out.

So I think Revyn Sadri is trying to rip me off:

Luckily it was a purely graphical glitch as when I tried pressing train he only charged me between 200-300.

I was roaming the hot springs area last night, trying to keep a wide birth between myself and a giant when suddenly something black and squishy skipped across the water and landed on the other side of the bank. I tried to see what it was, but it was all messed up and freaky looking. When I approached closer it flew over the bank and took off across the tundra at great speed. I think it was a wolf. A wolf on Skooma.

Same playthrough and I am only just level 5. I completely forgot about Mirrak's cultists and fast travelled to Riverwood. *sigh*
Now the little smithy girl is an orphan.

Heading towards Rorikstead and I see a dragon in the distance. As I get closer I realise it's Alduin and he is about to resurrect a dragon. So he does his thing and I am ready with my bow to take the newbie out. But nothing happens. The dragon, along with it's shimmering light show, just sits there in skeletal form. Even when I shoot it full of arrows.

He's just sitting there, chilling. It's cool, he's diggin it. I approach and he follows me, just chilling. Aww.. it's actually kinda cute. I shall name thee Jonathan.....
    ROAR!!!
Cue another dragon and a whole bunch Imperial soldiers, fresh from a bit of a tussle with some Stormcloaks. They attack MY dragon. NOOO! Leave Jono alone!!! I fire some arrows at the Imperials. No now Lyds and I are killing soldiers and a fire breather. We finish off the living dragon.

Then Jono goes down. Poor beast never had a chance. I avenge Jono and look up from the carnage.... A group of Khajiit caravaners are just standing there...watching.

I turn back to Jono. His light thingy is still going. I loot his skeleton, loot the soldiers and continue on my way...passing a small Imperial squad further up the road.
    Oh.. ehem.. good day gents.

I was running across the open plains after recently destroying a Dark Brotherhood assassin. A bandit archer stepped out from behind the trees and fired an arrow at me. I couldn't step out of the way quick enough. An instant before the arrow struck me a figure flashed across the screen and landed at my feet. It was a dead Hunter that fell from high above and caught the arrow in his chest. To make matters worse, the Bandit took off and left me standing there. So confused....

I have another. I was doing the triple boss fight in Reachwater Rock to get the Gauldur amulet reforged. I walked in, destroyed Jyrik and he teleported back to the other two. Sidgis stepped down, drew his weapon, disappeared, and never came back. Happened four times before I finally got the battle to run all the way through.

Reading the Lusty Argonian Maid book.

Does anyone else think it's the Tamriel version of Fifty Shades of Grey? Sorry - "Fifty Shades of Black Marsh"?

I also had an interesting moment with this particular quest: I managed to land the killing blow (or rather, arrow) on Jyrik just as he was teleporting to a different spot. He ended up tekeporting back to his brothers instead. :D

Yesterday I followed a random Stormcloak courier to Riverwood, and... well:

The guards, Alvor and Sigrid attacked the courier (who got away), but Gerdur rather foolishly decided to defend him from them. Fortunately for her I use a mod that makes most NPC's protected.

Hey, there ought to be a new book out by the author of the Lusty Maid, called "Fifty Shades of Greyskin".

Any time I kill a vampire, and their house or lair has garlic cloves in it. Like seriously, WTF Bethesda?

An artist I don't remember on Deviantart made a throwaway joke referring to the bestseller "50 Shades of Greybeard".

Are vampires in the Elder Scrolls universe allergic to garlic? I've been wondering that as I don't actually remember anything that says they are in Skyrim. I've been wondering if they threw out that rule for their universe because it would be too difficult.
