XBox 360 Install?

I can't seem to get a straight answer on this. I've got plenty of room on the hard drive in my Xbox 360, should I actually install the game to my drive? Some people in other forums have said it actually runs better just off the disk, while others have said installing it makes load times a little more manageable and improves the graphic quality.

Anyone know for certain? Much obliged.

Without the install you're playing it in low resolution so I definitely would.
