Waking Dreams Dead End

    Okay, so I've finished the whole book, got to chapter 6, killed the bad guys, learnt the shout, but then what? There's no exit book or anything, so my only option is to read the Waking dreams book to get myself out of there, but it's not finished. Is this a glitch? I've noticed that Waking Dreams isn't in my quest list at all, and I've even gone back several saves to when I just got the book and and started it over, but it never shows up in my quest list. This is the second book I've gotten and I haven't defeated the First Dragon Born dude yet.
    Just trying to figure out if this is a glitch and if not, what do I need to do to finish this book?

    It didn't show up in my quest list either and as far as I could figure out, the word wall is the end of that "book".

    However, according to the wiki, you can do this with Waking Dreams:

    I did not know this, but has anyone tried this?
