Vampire wife

I'm just wondering i have another character that's a vampire and do I have to wait till the quest is given to me to turn my wife into a vampire like my character or can I do it at any time ? Cause I would like to do it at any point in time but it seems i'm getting some quests that i've already done.

Im pretty sure you can only do it if you are given the quest by Vingalmo ? Or atleast ive never been able to do it outside of that quest.

yeah you have to get the quest, the quests are random so you could save outside the castle and reload until he gives you the quest.
