I know there are many advantages to being a werewolf such as
Your strength is increased drastically.
Your maximum health increases by 100 points, but does not regenerate.
Your maximum stamina also increases by 100.
You sprint faster than a horse.
Wolves will treat you as an ally, and won't attack you.
Any crimes you commit as a werewolf doesn't count against your "normal" self.
You get 100% resistance to diseases. (In normal form as well as werewolf form)
Howl of Rage causes nearby enemies up to level 25 to flee for 30 seconds (very useful)
Werewolves dash attack and power attack can and sometimes will one hit kill standard enemies or leave them kneeling on the ground.

But how about Vampires? What do they get?
And which one will you be!

Auxilium

In my opinion..
Stage One

Abilities:
  • Champion of the Night- Illusion spells cast by your vampire are 25% more powerful.
  • Night Stalker's Footsteps - Vampires are 25% harder to detect while sneaking.
  • Resist Disease - Your vampiric blood gives you 100% resistance to disease.
  • Resist Frost - Your vampiric blood gives you 25% resistance to frost.
  • Resist Poison - Your vampiric blood gives you 100% resistance to poison.
  • Weakness to Fire - Your vampiric blood causes you to be 25% weaker to fire.
  • Weakness to Sunlight - Health and stamina do not recover while in sunlight and are reduced by 15 points; however, magicka still regenerates normally (only when you are outside during the day).
Powers:
  • Vampire's Servant - Reanimate a weak dead body to fight for you for 60 seconds (can only be use once a day).
  • Vampire Sight - Improve night vision for 60 seconds (can be used multiple times a day and be toggled on/off).
Spells:
  • Vampiric Drain - Absorb 2 points of health per second from target (novice destruction spell, cost of 5 magicka per second).
Stage Two

Changes from Stage 1:
  • Resist Frost - Your vampiric blood gives you 50% resistance to frost.
  • Weakness to Fire - Your vampiric blood makes you 50% weaker to fire.
  • Weakness to Sunlight - Health, magicka and stamina do not recover while in sunlight and are reduced by 30 points (only when you are outside during the day).
  • Vampire's Servant - Reanimate a more powerful dead body to fight for you for 60 seconds (can only be used once a day).
  • Vampiric Drain - Absorb 3 points of health per second from target (novice destruction spell, costs 10 magicka per second).
Powers:
  • Vampire Seduction - Creatures and people up to level 10 are calmed (cease to fight) for 30 seconds.
Stage Three

Changes from Stage 2:
  • Resist Frost - Your vampiric blood gives you 75% resistance to frost.
  • Weakness to Fire - Your vampiric blood makes you 75% weaker to fire
  • Weakness to Sunlight - Health, magicka and stamina do not recover while in sunlight and are reduce by 45 points. (only when your outside during the day)
  • Vampire's Servant - Reanimate a powerful dead body to fight for you for 60 seconds. (can only be use once a day)
  • Vampiric Drain - Absorb 4 points of health per second from target. (novice destruction spell, costs 12 magicka per sec)
Stage Four

Changes from Stage 3:
  • Resist Frost - Your vampiric blood gives you 100% resistance to frost.
  • Weakness to Fire - Your vampiric blood makes you 100% weaker to fire.
  • Weakness to Sunlight - Health, Magicka and Stamina do not recover while in sunlight and are reduced by 60 points (only when you are outside during the day).
  • Vampire's Servant - Reanimate a very powerful dead body to fight for you for 60 seconds (can only be used once per day).
  • Vampiric Drain - Absorb 5 points of Health per second from target (novice Destruction spell, costs 15 Magicka per second).
  • People will be hostile towards you and might attack you on sight.
Powers:
  • Embrace of Shadows - The vampire becomes invisible, with improved night-vision for 180 seconds (can only be used once per day).
Notes
  • The effects of Vampirism become stronger the longer the player goes WITHOUT feeding.
  • Feeding ALWAYS brings the player back to Stage One.
  • In the early stages of Vampirism, NPCs will act normally around you.
  • On stage 3, NPCs will not interact with you unless you speak to them (you are feared, but not hated).
  • On stage 4, everyone is hostile towards you, so be careful! (tip: use your invisibility ability to sneak in a house to feed).
  • You can feed on sleeping NPCs in the same way you'd pickpocket from them. Just press the action button while sneaking.
  • If you are having trouble feeding at Stage Four, you can travel to an abandoned camp or shack, and ask your companions to sleep by asking them to do something for you, and then hold the action button on the bed. The window of opportunity is (apparently) very short. This is a safe, convenient (boring) way to deal with hunger.
It does offer more things compared to Lycanthropy but once you hit Stage 4 Vampirism, EVERYONE becomes hostile to you, towns folk, guards etc..

I've already chosen the Werewolf, the 100% disease resistance is extremely helpful.

yea im a thieve assassin aswell quick question of topic in the pickpocketing tree is it worth to get the "poisoned" putting poison in their pockets and they get hurt silently?

Lycan

Forest Crawler
A dunmer as a vampire reduces the fire weakness as their race trait is 50% fire resistance. Stage 1 therefore gives you 25% resist to frost and fire and 100% resist to disease and poison. Other than the slight downfall of weakness to sunlight it seems almost worth a damnation to Oblivion for eternity.

Ummm well if you want thief/assassin you obviously go vampire. You get sneak, invis, calm. You can obviously do both, but a vampire is OBVIOUSLY designed to fit more of the assasin/stealth archetype.

Werewolf is more warrior.

IMO having played both, the cons of being a vamp outweigh the pros. And there's no "turning off" being a vamp. Being a werewolf is more fun b/c you can be it whenever you want.

but like pro's and cons isnt the whole light con pretty horrible? and at level 4 do you still have
  • Champion of the Night- Illusion spells cast by your vampire are 25% more powerful.
  • Night Stalker's Footsteps - Vampires are 25% harder to detect while sneaking.

sure being a vampire has its many perks but it could seriously ruin the main quest, some missions will be impossible. being a werewolf makes most quests easier and doesn't affect them at all other than a positive way.
