Hey there, and welcome to our roleplaying section. Please take some time to read two of these useful resources below, if you're already a roleplaying expert, then there's no need to read the following beginner's guide, but be sure to read the rules.
Sounds good to me. We could return to Cicero, try to fix his wheel with makeshift parts, fail, and have someone get upset and start yelling at Cicero and Loreius; then when Loreius argues back, that person threatens him, or draws a sword, resulting in him calling the guards.
Maybe the fact that there are a bunch of people here now kind of tips him over the edge. Cicero had him nervous enough, and now that there are other strangers meddling in something he thinks is most likely illegal or offensive in nature, he just kind of loses it and calls for the guards. After all, he doesn't know what our intentions really are.
I like Melee's idea, too. Loreius already comes across as a wary, even irritated guy (his opening line and how he thinks Cicero is smuggling something prove that...at least to me). We could have him get so frustrated at our urging, that he finally buckles and calls the guards because he thinks we're harassing him.
Tomorrow evening, another post from me is on the agenda. I'll have Loreius call the guards on us, being suspicious and all, and initiate the chase sequence which will lead us across the plains, into the snowy forests of the Pale.
I set it up. It's up to you guys if you want to post.
Irish, if you want to post, just post. Clearly it'll take a few days for everyone to meander back into the OOC and even realize I posted and advanced the plot. There's no point in waiting for others, otherwise we'll be stuck here for another week or so.
