For the uninitated or those who were in a coma in 2014, "Twitch Plays Pokemon" is an interactive version of the game series that is controlled by the Twitch chatroom window. Users enter commands like "left" and "up" to simultaneously play the game at once. It's chaotic and messy, but that's the appeal, especially when things are actually accomplished. And this latest accomplishment is one hefty mountain: they managed to capture every Pokemon.

You might be thinking, "how exactly could they trade with another game?" Well, they had help. This session of the game was hacked to make capturing all 151 Pokemon in the original game's data possible -- because this time, that was the condition to win the game, instead of defeating Blue or the Elite Four. In addition, once-in-a-game Pokemon like Zapdos or Articuno were set to regenerate if the previous battle to catch them failed. The final mon added to the collection was Mewtwo, caught with an Ultra Ball when just two Pokemon in Red's arsenal had life left. The opposing monster? A Slowbro.

"Twitch Plays Pokemon" isn't as traffic-heavy as it was at the peak of its popularity last summer, but it still has plenty of active users to keep itself going. The channel's creator, an anonymous Australian programmer, intends to keep it running as long as he can and as long as there is some interest.
