These are awesome! I've always wanted to make one but am not sure exactly how, I know it involves a camera and timer. How did you make these?

Easiest way is to get one of these cameras:

I'm doing a time lapse right now of the sunset set. I use a Nikon D7000, Canon 60D, and GoPro 3 Black Edition. I edit and output 1080p movies using Adobe Lightroom 3.6 using Sean McCormacks's plugins. If I have to edit clips together I use Adobe Premiere Elements 11.
