I have thought of a idea for a RP. So a Cyrodiil merchant boat has found a huge land about half the size of Skyrim. The merchant boats captain, Aren Hedos has split the area into 4, Alteri Dravo, Arens friend has claimed the eastern part as his own. The other 3 parts have been given under the Jarls consent to different people.

    Eastern part:Taken
    Western part: Taken
    Southern part: Taken
    Northern part: Available

This is going to be in the Jarls, Commanders(If attacking) and Merchants point of view. You can attack and dominate other factions towns, raid, and slaughter as you wish (You MUST get other factions permission before war). Your town may not be over powered and all the towns and villages are already going to be builty so don't worry about that.

So this is how the outline is going to go :

    Name of Hold:
    Flag:
    Jarl and Staff
    Jarl:
    Steward:
    Family:
    Workers(If possible):
    Military:
    How does your Jarl act?:
    What weather is it:
    Towns and Villages
    Capital:
    Other
    What race is your country:
    Is your faction territorial?:
Does your faction trade with others?:
    Whats your faction known for?:

Could I reserve the North? I'm unable to post a card right now, but I'll hurry to get one up tomorrow if you let me :)

    Yeah sure, no problem.

Name of Hold:The LightDawn Hold is located on the eastern side of the Ilse
Flag):A gold line in the middle with half a sun on the top side with a white background.
    Jarl and Staff
    Jarl:Altieri Dravo
    Steward: Socol Herathin
    Family: None
    Workers(If possible): Alasia
Military: Heavy armored swordsmen and archers that wield long bows
What weather is it: Sunny most of the time. Rains every once and a while
    Towns and Villages
Capital: Hardus located a few miles in from the eastern coastline. Altieri lives and rules from this city.
    Other:
Zundar located along the coast just south of Hardus
Masuko is in the middle of the hold and the supplier of most wood in the hold because of the Forest of Light located just north of town
Dasuke is on the western side of the hold. There are huge mountains that start along the northern boarder line and end just off of the western edge said to have dwarfs living in them.

What race is your country: mostly Nords but small amounts of other races.
Is your faction territorial?:Yes, The faction will attack all who oppose them.
Does your faction trade with others?: Yes there merchant ships sail to and from Skyrim, delivering stone and food
Whats your faction known for?: Being the light in the darkness so to speak, it is a common saying in the hold.

    Name of Hold: The North
    Flag:
    scale.php

    Jarl and Staff
    Jarl: Laythe Garrett, aged forty-three
Steward: Amiel Garrett, the Jarl's son
Family: House Garrett. Laythe, his wife Raelynn, his son Amiel and his daughter Lyra
    Workers: Volunteers from Cyrodiil
Military: Led by Lyra Garrett, consisting of some Legionnaires and some average soldiers. Fire is a key element in their attack strategy
How does your Jarl act: Laythe is very wise, and tries to be friendly with the other Jarls of the land. Having a fairly large chunk of land, on a peninsula joined directly to both eastern and western parts of the isle, he holds much power, but doesn't like to use it to threaten the Jarls. He wants the people to decide how each hold should be run through a vote each year, rather than the Jarl having absolute power
What weather does the hold have: The North, being far in the north, can be warm but is always snowy, even in summer. Temperature ranges from about -10 Centigrade to 25 Centigrade (14 Fahrenheit to 77 Fahrenheit). But however warm, there is always snow

    Towns and Villages
Capital City: Whiteridge, built on a large plateau that can only be reached via a long bridge from a nearby mountain, meaning the city can be easily defended.
Other: Coldwick, the northernmost village in the hold. Norcoast, a town on the east coast of the peninsula. Deepchill Grotto, a village that never fails to have a biting wind blowing through it, just west of Whiteridge.
What race is your hold made up of: Mostly Imperials, but many Nords, Bretons, and people of every race.
Is your hold territorial: Not particularly, but will defend their land to the last and if another hold declares war on them, they will not stop fighting until that hold wishes for peace.
Does your hold trade with others: Yes, they get supplies from Cyrodiil every so often and the Jarl of Solitude also trades with the North a lot.
What is your hold known for: Being fierce fighters when aggravated, but calm, civilised people when they're not fighting. It is well known that fire is a large part of their battle strategies, and it is difficult to fight a war in the North against the Northmen due to the cold and the Northmen being accustomed to it.
Culture: Heavily based on the Imperial ideals, with some aspects of Nordic life implemented as well. Northmen value honour and valour above all else, but unlike the Nords, they do not care through which means the honour is shown. The Northmen would rebel against any leader without honour, and follow devoutly leaders with honour, meaning House Garrett is universally loved across the hold. The Garretts share their people's ideals, and Laythe would declare war on an unjust, selfish or otherwise dishonorable ruler of another hold. And the Northmen have more strict views of honour than most; what would be considered horrific but unavoidable would be accepted grudgingly, but if there was a lesser evil that the leader chose not to pick, or even didn't notice, then the Northmen will lose their respect for that leader.

More info: The peninsula is very thinly joined to the rest of the holds; a strip of land just three miles across separates the North from the rest. A garrison defends this land, which the Northmen have christened 'the Bottleneck'.

Also, I have a character card for Lyra Garrett, the military leader, here, which will give some backstory to her and House Garrett.

Could I join this, and if so, can I reserve the south?

Not sure if I should take south or west actually, is there a map of the actual continent?

I haven't even been accepted but I've been at work on a flag since I posted, editing heaps.

EDIT: I'd like the west please :)

Hey guys, there was A LOT MORE DESIGN AND TESTS including smoky backgrounds ect

This is sort of the main design. I saw a picture of a different eye (magicish one) and thought the original mark could go over it as the centre could fit right in the pupil. So a lot of resizing and editing later I got the final design :p

I really hope you see all those haha. I selected the 'small' option when sending them through, so hopefully you computer users don't get a massive scroll down.

That's the main symbol I want on my flag ( Yes I'm super nerdy and went to make my own).

Dixon, you won't be accepted if all you have is a flag :p You should implement it into the actual CC for the hold, so we know what exacty the flag is about. Draper can't accept you based on a flag :p

To be honest, I just thought up a basic principle for the North to hold to; fire and ice, in this case. Then I searched "flag fire and ice" and found that. I'm a total noob at editing too :p

    Name of Hold: Gristol

Flag: ImageUploadedByTapatalk HD1379627423.863470.jpg (massively incomplete but it'll have to do)

    Jarl: Jessamine Kaldwin

Steward: Callista Curnow is the steward to Jessamine and tutor of Emily Kaldwin.

Family: The Kaldwins are the ones ruling this hold, Jessamine being the Jarl and her daughter Emily being nobility.

Workers: There is a large amount of workers coming from Tamriel, mostly High Rock and Cyrodil.

Military: Gristol's military uses a large military force which specialise in magic use and in that force there are units for certain fields of destruction.

They also have a force not specialising in magic, with with bows and other weapons. This force is used as a wall between the enemy and magic users, and normally don't match the magic using army.

How does your Jarl act?: Known as a kind ruler Jessamine commits herself to a just and compassionate rule, doing whatever she can to alleviate suffering and pain from her people. Jessamine goes anywhere without the company of her housecarl, it is rumoured they are in love.

What is the weather like: Down to the most southern region it is sunny and warm, this continues all up east side. To the west of the region there is rocky cliffs leading out to sea,

Towns and Villages: Whitecliff, uncreatively named after the cliffs it's around to the far west of the hold. This town is located to the far west, but it's very up north of the hold so here it snows a little.

Azahar- The most southern country, is a beachside town with a lumber mill. This is where a lot of the wood comes from, there's a near endless amount of forest just a little north of this town.

Hamilton- Located on a small island called Hamilton Island, the is located in the middle of a reasonably large lake toward to the eastern borders.

Capitol city: Dunwall- The jarl lives in Dunwall tower.

What race is your country: Mostly Nords, Bretons, and Imperials reside in the cities. But in Whitecliff there are a lot of Argonians due to the village being close to the water, and the Jarl not being discriminatory.

Is your faction territorial?: They will let most through, but terms are known to change. People not welcome in the west are usually warned before being persecuted, but in this time of peace all are aloud through.

Does your faction trade with others?: Yes.

Whats your faction known for?: The extensive use of magic is a well known factor, Jessamine would likely be rebelled against had she ruled a hold in Skyrim due to all the magic haters. They have a guild for magic users in Dunwall, similar to the mages guild and The College of Winterhold.

I'm thinking of changing Gristol's name but idk, and I'm gonna name things like the forest and lakes and stuff if I'm accepted :p I'll name the guild and post CC's for characters too.

The CC will be for all characters mentioned, and the military leader. Maybe another character too, who o want to cause a ruckus in Gristol and maybe so somewhere else. I post it now without them because the first guy to post didn't include CC's.

Dixon, no offence but you really need to create things rather than copying them from other worlds. Everything in that card above was predictable once I saw the flag and the name. I'm not trying to have a go at you, I'm just saying; you need to be more creative.

Ugh but there are no DISHONORED RP's so I can never RP those characters.
In DISHONORED there is no military with magic, so I'm not changing that.

The flag, while the major pattern was based off something from DISHONORED, I made. It took ages. I'm not changing it. I added part of an eye too;)

No but seriously that flag took so damn long to make.

Actually even the territorial part has nothing to do with DISHONORED. Half the damn card isn't from DISHONORED, just THREE CHARACTER NAMES AND TWO PLACE NAME!

You made me worry, then I realised. Ugh.

    EpicVakarian

    Calibration-Master General
I just think it's too close to Dishonored and not close enough to Skyrim lore. I like the flag, don't get me wrong, and I like the way you've written in all the characters. But I've only seen one CC from you that isnt based around a game character, and I for one would prefer completely original content.

Oh and Drapor, I think I'd like to tell my story from Lyra's point of view. Not all of it, but especially if the North gets dragged into a war, Lyra's POV would be more interesting than the Jarl's. It's hard to explain completely what I mean; I'll explain in more detail when I can get to a computer.

    Daryl Dixon

    I understand what you mean.

Can I keep the city name and change the jarl and her daughters name?

Also it wasn't DISHONORED lore more than Skyrim, it was DISHONORED characters :p I didn't say 'and there's this assassin who teleports' ;)

    EpicVakarian

    Calibration-Master General
I'd say keep the same card, but change the names. Change the people, and change the Hold name and capital name as well. :/ Its up to Drapor, really, but I'd say keep everything you have but the names that could easily be associated with Dishonored.

Drapor, what I meant earlier; I'd tell most of the North's story through its family. Mostly from Lyra, but sometimes from Laythe, sometimes from Raelynn and sometimes from Amiel. And perhaps some random people every so often

I'll do something along those lines with the story telling^

But I wanted Jessamines personality, and I like the last name and Capitol name :p

    Epic, post in the Wildstalkers;)

I'll change the names though, and the jarls kid. I'll try keep the personality though, but you can't really get a grip on Jessamines personality as she is in the game for less than 5 minutes; I used her as an example because she's a just ruler.

However, I'll change the necessary things.
