This is only the first chapter of what will probably be a fairly long book with several interesting things going on in it. Any comments good or bad will be greatly appreciated. If you do comment please try and elaborate on why you found it to be either good or bad. Thank you for reading.

The Dragonborn had defeated Alduin and Skyrim was saved from the dragon’s threat. But, there were still many more dangers to be found in Tamriel that made the dragons return look like an afternoon at the local tavern. The Dragonborn himself was already finding himself in a situation he did not want to be in at the bottom of on of the dwemer ruins far to the north under the frozen sea. He had come here because one of the mages from the College of Winterhold had found mention of a legendary warrior that had disappeared in the ruins. The ruins were so far underwater that even though he had put on an enchanted mask to allow him to breathe underwater, the pressure alone on his body felt as it were going to crush him before he found them. Amazingly, just when he felt he could go no farther he saw the entryway he had been searching for looming before him. The door was sealed tightly shut and he did not believe that he would be able to get it open with just the power of his arms. As he let go of the door to think about other ways to get the door open, it suddenly opened inward and the surrounding water current forcefully dragged him with it. The current pulled him for what felt like an eternity especially since he kept getting slammed into structures as he went. Just when he thought it would never stop he felt the floor of the Dwemer ruins sliding against the back of his feet and the feel of air passing across the back of his head before the water dumped him unceremoniously on the floor of the chamber. Thankfully, since these were Dwemer ruins there were lights so he could see the chamber around him. What amazed him the most was not the fact of how big these ruins had to be but, the fact that as he pulled off his mask he was breathing fresh air. As he took in his surroundings he did an inventory of his gear that he had brought along with him. He had lost a couple of mundane items but for the most part his inventory was as he expected. He only brought the mask of waterbreathing, a set of daedric armor that he carried in his pack and, his daedric battleaxe. He did not bring any of his enchanted gear because he did not know what he was going to be going up against and he had had a run in the previous month with someone who used the enchantments on his armor to attack him. Not wanting to go through that kind of battle again he just brought his nonenchanted legendary set. He shook his head to clear the memory of that battle out of his head. The mage had said at the very bottom chamber of this ruin should be what they were looking for. The Dragonborn was hoping to find his weapons and armor, the mage was hoping to find some spell tomes or some artifacts that could be put to use. He shook those thoughts away as well donned his armor and started walking into the passageway that loomed before him.
