With the Stormcloaks having freed Skyrim nearly 15 years ago, the kingdom has settled into peace. A council of sorts has formed, marked by the Jarl of each hold and several Ordforers (Mayors) of towns or Commanders of Forts joining their delegations. The Skyrim High Assembly is held once every three months. Issues of all kinds are discussed and resolved, and new laws/ideas are proposed. The High King is elected here, and he/she presides over the dealings. Can you solve the issues of the land? Can you lead your Hold to greatness?
(This is a rather ambitious idea, so it may or may not work out. Please have patience, as there are a lot of slots to fill. Suggestions are appreciated, so long as they aren't rude)
Aside from the regular rules of Roleplay, please follow these rules/suggestions:
1. Anyone can suggest anything, but this is designed to resolve issues. For example: "Dragon Bridge is consistently attacked by forsworn, can we get Solitude and Markarth to send soldiers to protect us?" or "I propose a new law forbidding discrimination of the Dark Elves."
2. Acting out certain events via story or witness is an excellent way to fill the space, so we don't just have to listen to political chatter. Provide eyewitness accounts of the attack on Fort Hraggstead, or explain how your contingent cleared out the Bandit Encampment.
3. While Jarls are the military and final political leaders, the Ordforers/Commanders can still propose and vote on things. Jarl's votes are worth 2, and Ordforer's votes are worth 1.
4. The High King is OnlyThePie to begin, but every so often, a new one will need to be elected. The High King resolves blocked debates, stops rude or unceremonious action, and is worth 3 votes.
