The Elder Scrolls Online's third major content update, version 1.3.3, is now available for download. Lots of bug fixes and you can now dye your characters armor to look like Wolverine if you want.
According to ZeniMax in the patch notes:
"In this update, we’ve added armor dye stations where you can change the color of your armor with dyes you unlock through achievements. We’ve also added and improved many guild features including the addition of guild heraldry, guild traders, and improved guild management."
"Another exciting change is the updates to our campaigns in Cyrodiil. We’ve implemented new campaign options, each with their own rule set."
The dye system will probably get the most immediate and noticeable use. Expect a much more colorful game world very soon.
The new guild management features are also extensive, allowing guild leaders to create up to 10 ranks for their guild, each with its own icon, and create separate permissions for those ranks. There's also guild heraldry, guild traders, and guild banks.
Another welcome feature is the shortening of the pesky delay for swapping weapons. Instant weapon swap, you are my new best friend.
ZeniMax has also attempted to improve the visual quality of the game with color correction effects that make things look less muddy. Check out an example below, the new version is on the left.
