I've decided on a design for the Arena Champion. It COULD change in the future depending on if I change my mind or not, but that's unlikely.
The reason I'm telling you all this is because his renown would be so great that all of this would be considered common knowledge.
The name he is known by is Interitus. Whether or not this is his real name is up for debate. Regardless, this is the name that he goes by now.
Interitus is an Argonian with black and sapphire blue scales. He's above average height, but despite the extremely exaggerated tales surrounding him he is not giant sized, although 6'6" isn't short and he is quite muscular.
Something that is extremely unusual about him, however, is his age. No one knows exactly how old he was, but he was mature before he came to the arena, and he came to the arena in the early days of its rise to prominence. His scales have grown wild, and are wickedly sharp, serving as natural weapons as well as natural defenses. For indeed, his scales are like armor all their own. Even his horns are wickedly proportioned, and he looks every bit a monster straight out of the deepest depths of Oblivion. It is unlikely that he is still a rational, sentient being, as when the arena overpopulates they begin to starve him, only to throw him into the ring with countless excess prisoners. It draws in quite the crowd.
He is completely undefeated, and the closest he has come to losing was when the former Archmage of the Wizard's guild was thrown in. This was one of the few occasions that Interitus actually used a weapon other than hand to hand combat, but regardless of the weapons he's been seen to use, and despite his apparent decreased level of sentience, he has proven to be an absolute master of every weapon he has picked up.
Note that he has been known to slaughter entire mobs single handedly, and there was one "incident" where he broke the chains, as well as the solid wall they were connected to, then broke through the steel gate keeping him contained and went on a rampage throughout the inner confines of the arena. The death toll was on par with that of a natural disaster.
