........ you read in Cicero's Journal that he posed as am adoring fan, only to kill the arena Champion in the great woods for the bears to eat, and you scream at the top of your lungs in the middle of the night
"CICERO YOU SON OF A B*TCH" only to realize you insulted the Night Mother in doing so, and the Wrath Of Sithis comes to you in your sleep, and you pee your pants, because you thought it was just a game

*** you close your first Oblivion gate at Kvatch at level 2 but can't release the poor guy being held prisoner since the cage won't open

*** you apparently murder somebody during the Battle of Kvatch and all the Divines are apparently mad at you and make snarky comments at you

*** you come across a small town with 1/2 the building burnt out and can't find anybody to rent you a room at the inn so you head for the church where everybody tells you to go away or you'll get hurt but they still rent you a room and buy your stuff.

*** when you wonder why you should give a dern about the emperor being murdered when you realize that you were in PRISON when you met him and you don't even know why.
