Targets for burglary.

Let me start by telling you this is not only a log of good houses/stores to raid for loot but also is a miniature guide to thieving.

The guide:
To start a life of thieving your going to have to start at the bottom and work your way up because let's face it,there is no way you are going to be able to pull off a master heist on your first try.I suggest training your pickpocket and lock-pick skill on targets outside of cities so that you are able to make a quick getaway without getting into trouble with the guards for example roving traders and dungeon chests will be of use.Second of all your going to have to have an adequate set of gear on you for example this is my own personal favourite:
-Thieves guild armor(Increases your carry capacity)
-Thieves guild boots(Increases your pickpocket chances)
-Thieves guild gloves(Lockpicking is easier)
-Thieves guild hood(Prices are better(good for selling your ill-gotten goods)
-At LEAST 20 lockpicks(hey,a begginer breaks a lot of picks)
-A copy of shadowmarks.

The targets:
These are all houses/stores that i have found decent loot in.This list will be updated as i find more.feel free to add more as i will appreciate help with my larceny too.
-Elgrims Elixirs,riften(alchemy shop's usually have good loot)
-Grelka's armor stall,riften(Word of warning,she hired thugs to kill me)
-Madesi's stall,riften.
-Pawned Prown,riften.
-Black briar manor(Don't they are protected but if you dont care go ahead)
-All alchemy shops
-Riften orphanage(what are they going to do?tell there parents?)
-Whiterun clans(battle borns and grey manes
-Dwemer museum,markarth.
-The treasury,markarth.
-Store strongboxes

Larceny targets:
-The Bust of the Gray Fox,Riftweald Manor,riften.
-Left eye of the falmer,Irkngthand
-Dwarven puzzle cube,Calcemos museum,Markarth.
-Model Ship,Snow veil sanctum.
-East empire shipping map,East empire company warehouse.
-Honningbrew decanter,Honningbrew meadery.
-Queen Bee Statue,goldenglow estate.

This is my list so far,i will hopefully update the list.

I was hoping for a better list like where you might find all the honor pieces for the thieves wall, this late in the process of the game I would have thought someone would have a list of locations like that and maybe a list of Shadowmarked houses worth the weight to payoff

Well as i said i will continue to update this list as i find more and all of these areas are shadowmarked.I made a mistake by forgetting to say that shadowmarks re not always reliable for example these houses host 500+ gold worth of loot where as some "loot" houses only have around 100 golds worth.I will be sure to edit my post.Thanks for alerting me to this.

What are the honor pieces for the thieves wall?do you mean the larceny targets ie.the bust of the gray fox and the dwarven puzzle cube? If not i would appreciate it if you explained what it is.

I believe that's what he's talking about. I've found those two items while doing thieve guild quests and purely by accident because they're not part of a quest that I know of. I just happened to take them and when I went back to Delvin there was an option something like "what will you give me for..." and after selling it to him they ended up on the wall in the cistern
