    This RP covers the story of a Rangers and Hunters Guild called the Tamriel Wildstalkers. The Wildstalkers are an elite group of survivalists, ranging from Archers to Alchemists, Warriors to Healers. The group travels Tamriel, tackling legends of the wild and making a name for themselves as hunters of legend, tracking down and slaying mythical and legendary creatures.. They are all trained in basic combat, but each has their own specialty.

    Rules:

    1) No overpowering your character - only one specialty is allowed per character. The guild needs each specialty filled. Negotiate who will have what role. Try to pick a specialty that has not already been chosen, to keep the group as diverse as possible.
    You can use any weapon regardless of class, you just won't be anywhere near as effective as someone specialized.
    Just because the archer spots are taken, for example, doesn't mean you can't use a bow.You're just not as good with it as someone who is an archer.

    2) Your character's equipment can be created e.g. a black elven bow, or ivory armor (white ebony armor maybe?)

    3) A certain degree of racism and cursing is allowed in the rp, as Tamriel is a very racist land, but any racist OOC comments and you're out.

    The group will begin scattered in High Rock, then make their way round Tamriel based on Legends and the word of the people.

    This rp is run completely by you, so the majority of legends and myths will be based on your own imagination. Post the ideas in this thread then we can incorporate it into the rp.

    Some ideas I saw elsewhere:

    -The Beasts of Black Marsh, an evil cult of lycanthrope Argonians who turn into mindless, savage werecrocodiles when the moons are out.
    -The Mournhold Monster, a large 40 foot serpent terrorizing the countryside near Mournhold in Morrowind. Likely originated from Black Marsh

    Just want to know who would be interested at first, so I know whether this is worth the time or not. We would take in 8 max, but 4 would be a minmum. This is not the first RP I've been in, but it is the first that I came up with, and I know it's not the most creative idea ever so feel free to comment and criticize

    I'm interested! Sounds good to me, the character I use for RP is a pyromancer. She occasionally uses a one-handed sword, but mainly specialises in fire magic. That OK by you? My CC is in my sig if you're interested, and I have some JPEGs somewhere of her if needed. Don't worry, I'll do the submission below just in case :)

    Name: Beth Signysdaughter
    Race: Half-breed; Nord mother, Imperial father but considers herself a Nord
    Age: 24
    Gender: Female
    Class: Pyromancer
    Religion: Worships Talos and Kynareth, also follows teachings of the Daedra Azura.
    Tools: Fire magic :p wears strange clothing relative to the trends of Tamriel. (I'll post the JPEGs at some point so you can see what I mean)
    Appearance: Slender, 5'2", but still curvaceous. Lightly tanned skin, long auburn hair with flowers pinned in. Deep green eyes. Has a reasonably large scar below her left eye; she covered it up by tattooing a dragon over it.
    Personality: Very modest, shy and mature. Earned a reputation in Winterhold, where she lives most of the time, as one of the most kind, selfless and lovable people in Skyrim.
    Background: Born in Ivarstead. Her parents were devout worshippers of Talos, but were caught by the Thalmor, who killed them both in a horrific attack that left Beth with both her scar and her hatred of the Aldmeri Dominion. She fled to the College, but barely made it. Only her fire spells kept her warm enough to survive until Tolfdir found her. She was teased by the much older students at the College, so she was taken in by Savos Aren as a personal student due to her young age and the other students' bullying. She eventually considered Aren a foster parent and became a freedom fighter for Tamriel; eventually travelling to Valenwood to aid a Bosmer resistance group in attacking Thalmor positions. She has been recognised by Ulfric and his Stormcloaks as a huge asset to their cause, even at her young age.
    Specialty: Fire. She excels at both making precisely aimed attacks with fire, as well as complete infernos. She is one of the few people alive skilled enough with pyromancy to control it to the extent of being able to light a campfire from a half mile away.

    Expert: One-handed, Conjuration, Enchanting
    Adept: Restoration, Illusion, Alteration
    Apprentice: Light Armour
    Novice: everything else :p


    And in regards to everyone starting in High Rock, I'm assuming we're free to conjure up whatever we like about why our characters are there, right?

    Age: 27 in human years
    Religion: The Hist, Sithis
    Equipment: A short-bladed Ivory dagger, highly resembles a dragonbone dagger, inlaid with gold and has a pure silver handle, wrapped in black leather for comfort. Has a Silver bow, much like Auriel's Bow. Uses Ivory arrows.
    Appearance: Dark brown scales, small blue eyes. Long curved horns, with a long row of green feathers/hair running to the base of his neck. No scars. Wears full ivory armor (white ebony armor) without the helmet.
    Personality: Friendly and loyal. Untrusting and slow to befriend, but completely loyal to friends. Impatient, often annoys others because he rushes them. Buries himself in books when the opportunity arises, always keen to develop his skills. Has a silver tongue, able to talk his way out of almost any situation.
    Background: Learned alchemy and smithing from his father, a master of poisons and one of the only ivory smiths in Tamriel. Was taught traditionally to hunt with a spear and shield, but Learned archery from a young age, and learned quickly to gather, fish and lay traps. Freelanced as a bounty hunter at a young age, bur did not enjoy the work. Enjoyed long trips across Tamriel, seeing new places and meeting new people. A very skilled alchemist, also learned Alteration and Illusion magic. Left Black Marsh at the age of 17, headed for Valenwood. Settled there, and just 3 years later joined a Valenwood Resistance group fighting for freedom from the Thalmor's rule. Although not a Wood Elf himself, he quickly adopted their customs, but not their religions. He stays true to the Hist no matter what.

    Nice, thanks! I'm thinking my character is going to be travelling through High Rock on the way back to Winterhold from Valenwood. Going to the west to avoid going through the extremely Imperial and Altmer-controlled region of Cyrodiil :p

    Hey, thats a point. My char had a time going through Valenwood, like I said on the CC. It could be that the characters already know each other, at least slightly.

    Maybe they helped eachother at some point along the way when their paths crossed in Valenwood? Co-Founders of the guild :cool:

    Yeah, my character was helping resistance groups, but I think that could easily mean they met by accident. But yeah, I think co-founders sounds good! So what, they met in Valenwood, and decided to join up together and create the Wildstalkers? And do you think it'd be possible (and would you mind) to do something at some point in the RP based around fighting the Thalmor? Like, Ulfric sends a note to my char saying the Stormcloaks need help and the Wildstalkers help?

    That sounds like a great idea, I hate the thalmor so killing them will be fun :D and if you wana change the name from wildstalkers feel free, I'm not really sure if i like it or not...

    The RP could easily start with us recruiting the others, but as I said already I'm not taking cotrol of this, it'll go in whatever direction the people's imagination wants it to.

    Great! Everyone loves killing Thalmor :p And I like the name. Although it does sound like something very similar from a TV show, though I can't put my finger on what it is exactly. I'll try and conjure up some names tomorrow. That'll mean most likely a reply between 10am BST and 10pm BST with any possible names I've come up with. There might be a few references though, be warned :p

    Thats one of the reasons (in my RP mind) that she still supports the Stormcloaks even though they're kind of racist :p

    Name: Raz'Gul Bloodfist

    Race: Orsimer/Werewolf

    Age: 26

    Gender: Male

    Class: Berserker

    Religion: Malacath

    Equipment/Magic/Tools: A full custom set of heavy armor. It looks like Orcish Ebony a dark green with intricate gold designs on it polished and always looking pristine. He carries a large two handed axe its obviously of Orcish smithing. Was made for and given to him by his mother although he has kept it and improved it slightly its base remains largely the same a worn. With something written along the upper part of the hilt in orcish. It translates to "May your strikes be sure and precise, to quench this blade with blood."

    Appearance: He is a very large orc. Standing well over six feet tall and weighing in at about 230lbs and muscular. He has a light green skin but stands out with silver hair cut shaved on the sides and short into a small pony tail to fit into his helmet, Bright blue eyes an anomaly among orcs. Small tusks and horns that line his brow. A red hand print that has been tattooed unto his face as apposed to just warpaint.

    Personality: For his rough demeanor he doesn't speak much choosing to observe his environment as apposed to interacting with it. He does have a short temper. which can be a downfall for him. Rarely turns down a chance to fight and prove himself and never when coin is involved.

    History/Background: Born in the Skyrim stronghold of Dushnik-Yal near Markarth. He was the third son of the Chiefs forge wife. From a very young age he began mining and smithing with his mother he had a great knack for forging metal. He dreamed as a boy to be a great warrior and great orc leader. At the age of 17 he was a master smith and almost unrivaled with a two handed axe. Yet he began to realize that being the third son of a forge wife and sixth son of the Chief left him little options and he refused to be stuck behind a forge his whole life. So he left the stronghold with an axe his mother forged especially for him. He went to Markarth and became hired muscle for the Silvebloods. He did this for about 3 years. Realizing he was better than a common thug he began to hunt bounties around the reach. Perfecting his skill with his axe "Cleaver". These travels led him to the Orc stronghold of Mor Khazgor. He was stunned to meet a beautiful Orc woman about his age. His skill attracted her to him. Soon they wed in secret she was the daughter of the Chief and he refused to let his daughter marry a "homeless" Orc. When he found out about their marriage he was furious and had his son attack Raz'gul who defeated the Chiefs son. They were then aloud to leave but were banished from the stronghold. They lived happily in Markarth for about two years when Raz'gul decided to try and become a companion. He rose quickly through the ranks and was offered a place among the circle and received the gift of Hircine. Still new to the trials of being a werewolf he and his wife were out one night and he turned killing her. When he came to he was destroyed seeing what he did to his only love. His hands covered in blood he adopted the name Bloodfist and left the companions. Thats when he got a red hand tattooed on his face to never forget what he did. Spending years traveling Skyrims holds. Collecting bounties and smithing to survive. He learned to control the beast within and was able to stop turning all together still embracing the wolf inside. He now looks for more of a challenge and the death an orc deserves. But knows not where to find it.

    Specialty: Two Handed Axes. Hes a ferocious warrior strong and agile for his size thanks to the werewolf blood that flows through his veins. He uses his weight and armors weight for large powerful swings although it is exhausting and makes his defensive abilities and movements slow and leads to an occasional injury.

    Skills:
    Master: Two Handed, Blacksmithing
    Expert: Heavy Armor wearing, Blocking
    Adept: Where his weaknesses lie he's so focused on the few things the rest fall to the wayside.

    So what, we have an archer, a berserker and a pyromancer so far? Awesome! Puff, your character sounds cool, when you say he can control it, do you mean he knows how to stop himself turning or he has control over his wolf form?
