Stuck walking in place at helgen chopping block

Im having an issue with my game where I am stuck walking in place at the beginning of the game after I am called up for the execution, and I cannot do anything after that. I've gone passed it once or twice but happens again after alduin comes and is supposed to let me move freely. Not sure how to fix it. I do have quite a bit of mods also. please help

you use mods so use an alternate start mod

Id have to agree with TX. The alternate start mods seem to be pretty stable and glitch free

This one even lets you choose the vanilla start, so you might be able to get through the (streamlined) Helgen sequence.
