Steam servers are overloaded, and day 1 patch is taking forever. Help with manual patching?

The steam servers are FUBAR right now, and this first patch is going to take me another 5 hours to download at this rate. I've already been waiting on the download from steam for 4 hours, and it's like I'm living in my own personal hell. I was wondering if any of you here knew of a place that I could go to download the patch (other than steam) and manually install it?

Nah, you'll have to wait unfortunately. Luckily for me I just managed to download the update before it was released in the US.

haha I suppose this is the one upside of not getting the game for a few weeks after the release. The bugs seem to be in better order by that time, plus the download and install wont take nearly as long due to tidy servers haha
