Here is the now complete list of Spell Tomes including those found in both the Dawnguard & Dragonborn DLC's. I have rewritten the list so that the Spell Tomes are in their Respective Classes.

ALTERATION

Ash Rune: Cast on a nearby surface, it explodes when enemies are nearby, immobilizing them in hardened ash for 30 seconds. – Adept Level – Cost 248

Ash Shell: Targets that fail to resist are immobilized in Hardened Ash for 30 seconds. – Adept Level – Cost 91

Candlelight: Creates a hovering light that lasts for 60 seconds. – Novice Level – Cost 7

Detect Dead: Nearby dead can be seen through walls. – Expert Level – Cost 108 per second.

Detect Life: Nearby living creatures, but not undead, machines or Daedra, can be seen through walls. – Adept Level – Cost 36 per second.

Dragonhide: Caster ignores 80% of all physical damage for 30 seconds. – Master Level – Cost 837

Ebony Flesh: Improves the castor's armor by 100 points for 60 seconds. – Expert Level – Cost 341

Equilibrium: Convert health into magicka at a rate of 25 points per second. Caster can be killed by this effect. – Novice Level – Cost – 0

Ironflesh: Improves the caster's armor rating by 80 points for 60 seconds. – Adept Level – Cost 266

Magelight: Ball of light that lasts 60 seconds and sticks where it strikes. – Apprentice Level – Cost – 84

Mass Paralysis: All targets in the area that fail to resist are paralyzed for 15 seconds. – Master Level – Cost 937

Oakflesh: Improves the caster's armor rating by 40 points for 60 seconds.

Paralyze: Targets that fail to resist are paralyzed for 10 seconds. – Expert Level – Cost 450.

Stoneflesh: Improves the caster's armor rating by 60 points for 60 seconds.

Telekinesis: Can pull an object towards you from a distance. Add it your inventory or throw it. – Adept Level – Cost – 170 per second.

Waterbreathing: Can breathe under water for 60 seconds. – Adept Level – Cost 222.

Transmute: Transmutes one piece of unrefined iron ore to silver, or silver ore to gold if the caster is carrying any. – Adept Level – Cost 100.


CONJURATION

Banish Daedra: Weaker summoned Daedra are sent back to Oblivion. – Adept Level – Cost – 196.

Bound Battle Axe: Conjures a magic battle axe for 120 seconds. – Novice Level – Cost 169.

Bound Bow: Creates a magic bow for 120 seconds. Sheathe it to dispel. – Adept Level – Cost - 207

Bound Dagger: Creates a magic dagger for 120 seconds. Sheathe it to dispel. – Novice Level – Cost 32

Bound Sword: Creates a magic sword for 120 seconds. – Novice Level – Cost 93

Command Daedra: Powerful summoned and raised creatures are put under the player's control. – Adept Level – Cost - 243

Conjure Ash Guardian: Creates an Ash Guardian that guards that location until destroyed. Consumes a heart stone from your inventory, without which it will be hostile. – Adept Level – Cost – 207.

Conjure Ash Spawn: Summons an Ash Spawn for 60 seconds wherever the caster is pointing. – Apprentice Level – Cost - 186

Conjure Boneman: Summons a Boneman archer for 60 seconds wherever the caster is pointing. – Novice Level – Cost – 129.

Conjure Dremora Lord: Summons a Dremora Lord for 60 seconds. – Expert Level – Cost - 358

Conjure Familiar: Summons a Familiar for 60 seconds wherever the caster is pointing. – Novice Level – Cost - 107

Conjure Flame Atronach: Summons a Flame Atronach for 60 seconds wherever the caster is pointing. – Novice Level – Cost - 150

Conjure Frost Atronach: Summons a Frost Atronach for 60 seconds wherever the caster is pointing. – Adept Level – Cost - 215

Conjure Mistman: Summons a Mistman from the Soul Cairn for 60 seconds wherever the caster is pointing. – Adept Level – Cost - 193

Conjure Seeker : Summons a Seeker for 60 seconds wherever the caster is pointing. – Adept Level – Cost – 157

Conjure Storm Atronach: Summons a Storm Atronach for 60 seconds wherever the caster is pointing. – Expert Level – Cost – 322.

Conjure Wrathman: Summons a Wrathman from the Soul Cairn for 60 seconds wherever the caster is pointing. – Expert Level – Cost - 301

Dead Thrall: Reanimate a dead body permanently to fight for the player. - Master Level - Cost - 1000

Dread Zombie: Reanimate a very powerful dead body to fight for the player for 60 seconds. - Expert Level - Cost – 302

Expel Daedra: Powerful summoned Daedra creatures are sent back to Oblivion. - Expert Level - Cost - 215

Flame Thrall: Summons a Flame Atronach permanently. - Master Level - Cost - 900

Flaming Familiar: Summons a Flaming Familiar which will charge into battle and explode. – Apprentice Level – Cost – 57.

Frost Thrall: Summons a Frost Atronach permanently. - Master Level - Cost – 1100

Raise Zombie: Reanimate a weak dead body to fight for the player for 60 seconds. Novice Level - Cost - 103

Reanimate Corpse: Reanimate a more powerful dead body to fight for the player for 60 seconds. – Apprentice Level – Cost – 144

Revenant: Reanimate a powerful dead body to fight for the player for 60 seconds. – Adept Level – Cost - 183

Soul Trap: If a target dies within 60 seconds, fills a soul gem. – Apprentice Level – Cost – 107

Storm Thrall: Summons a Storm Atronach permanently. - Master Level - Cost - 1200

Summon Arniel's Shade: Summons the Shade of Arniel Gane for 60 seconds wherever the caster is pointing. . – Apprentice Level – Cost – 71

Summon Arvak : Summons the horse Arvak wherever the caster is pointing. – Apprentice Level – Cost – 136

Summon Unbound Dremora: Summons an unbound Dremora. Novice Level - Cost - 100


DESTRUCTION

Arniel's Convection: Burns the target 1 point per second. Targets on fire take extra damage. - Novice Level - Cost - 0 per second

Blizzard: Creates a blizzard that surrounds the caster. Targets take 20 point of frost damage every second for 10 seconds, plus stamina damage. - Master Level - Cost - 656

Chain Lightning: A lighting bolt inflicting 40 points of damage to Health and half as much to Magicka, then leaps to a new target. If the character has learned Augmented Shock 2/2, the lightning jumps on one additional target and does 60 damage. Caution! Friendly-fire is possible. - Adept Level - Cost - 156

Flames: A gout of fire inflicting a base damage of 8 points of fire damage per second. Targets on fire take extra damage. One of the two basic spells. - Novice Level - Cost - 14 per second

Firebolt: A bolt of fire that inflicts 25 points of fire damage. Targets on fire take extra damage. - Apprentice Level - Cost - 41

Flame Cloak: For 60 seconds, opponents in melee range take 8 points of damage per second. Targets on fire take extra damage. Does not harm Followers. Does harm neutral NPCs like town guards. - Adept Level - Cost - 289

Freeze: A spike of ice that does 20 points of frost damage to Health and Stamina and slows the target for 15 seconds. - Apprentice Level - Cost - 30

Frostbite: A blast of cold inflicting a base damage of 8 points of frost damage per second to Health and Stamina. - Novice Level - Cost - 16 per second

Sparks: Lightning which inflicts a base damage of 8 points of shock damage per second to Health and Magicka. - Novice Level - Cost - 19 per second

Fireball: A fireball which explodes on impact for 40 points of damage in a 15 foot radius. Targets on fire take extra damage. If the character has learned Augmented Flames 2/2, the radius of the fire explosion is increased by 5 and damage increases to 60 points. Does harm Followers, but not Dragonborn. - Adept Level - Cost - 133

Fire Rune: Cast on a nearby surface, it explodes for 50 points of damage when enemies come near. Affected targets take extra damage. - Apprentice Level - Cost - 234

Fire Storm: A 100 point fiery explosion centered on the caster. The closer a target is, the more damage they take. - Master Level - Cost - 846

Frost Cloak: For 60 seconds, opponents in melee range take 8 points of damage per second to Health and Stamina. Does not harm Followers. Does harm neutral NPCs like town guards. - Adept Level - Cost - 316

Frost Rune: Cast on a nearby surface, it explodes for 50 points of damage to Health and Stamina when enemies come near. Movement speed is reduced for affected targets. - Apprentice Level - Cost - 293

Ice Spike: A spike of ice that inflicts 25 points of ice damage to Health and Stamina. - Apprentice Level - Cost - 48

Ice Storm: A freezing whirlwind that does 40 points of damage per second to Health and Stamina. The whirlwind radius is increased if the character has Augmented Frost 2/2. Spell range is smaller if cast with Destruction Dual Casting. Does harm Followers, but not Dragonborn. - Adept Level - Cost – 144

Ignite: A blast of flame that sets targets of fire, doing 4 damage per second for 15 seconds. - Apprentice Level - Cost – 30

Incinerate: A blast of fire that does 60 (90) points of fire damage. Targets on fire take extra damage. - Expert Level - Cost - 298

Lightning Bolt: A bolt of lightning that inflicts 25 points of shock damage to Health and half as much to Magicka. - Apprentice Level - Cost - 51

Lightning Cloak: For 60 seconds, nearby opponents take 8 points of damage per second to Health and half as much to Magicka. Does not harm Followers. Does harm neutral NPCs like town guards. - Adept Level - Cost - 370

Lightning Rune: Cast on a nearby surface, it explodes for 50 points of damage to Health and half as much to Magicka when enemies come near. - Apprentice Level - Cost - 323

Lightning Storm: Fires a continuous stream of lightning. Target takes 75 points of shock damage per second to Health, and half that to Magicka. - Master Level - Cost - 138 per second

Thunderbolt: A thunderbolt that does 60 (90) points of shock damage to Health and half that to Magicka. - Expert Level - Cost - 343

Wall of Flames: Sprayed on the ground, it creates a wall of fire that does 50 points of fire damage per second. Does not harm Followers or Dragonborn. - Expert Level - Cost - 118 per second

Wall of Frost: Sprayed on the ground, it creates a wall of frost that does 50 points of frost damage per second. Does not harm Followers or Dragonborn. - Expert Level - Cost - 137 per second

Wall of Storms: Sprayed on the ground it creates a wall of lightning that does 50 points of shock damage per second. Does not harm Followers or Dragonborn. - Expert Level - Cost - 145 per second

Whirlwind Cloak: For 60 seconds, opponents in melee range have a chance of being flung away. - Adept Level - Cost - 338

Vampiric Drain: Absorb 2, 3, 4 or 5 points (depends upon the level of vampirism) of health from the target. - Novice Level - Cost - 6, 10, 13 or 17 per second (depends upon the level of vampirism)


ILLUSION

Call to Arms: Targets have improved combat skills, health, and stamina for 10 minutes.- Master Level - Cost - 655

Calm: Creatures and people up to level 9 won't fight for 30 seconds.- Apprentice Level - Cost - 146

Clairvoyance: Shows the path to the current goal.- Novice Level - Cost - 25 per second

Courage: Target won't flee for 60 seconds and gets some extra health and stamina.- Novice Level - Cost - 39

Fear: Creatures and people up to level 9 flee from combat for 30 seconds.- Apprentice Level - Cost - 153

Frenzy: Creatures and people up to level 14 will attack anyone nearby for 60 seconds.- Adept Level - Cost - 209

Frenzy Rune: Creatures and people up to level 20 will attack anyone nearby for 60 seconds.- Adept Level - Cost - 165

Fury: Creatures and people up to level 6 will attack anything nearby for 30 seconds.- Novice Level - Cost - 67

Harmony: Creatures and people up to level 25 nearby won't fight for 60 seconds.- Master Level - Cost - 1052

Hysteria: Creatures and people up to level 25 flee from combat for 60 seconds.- Master Level - Cost - 866

Invisibility: Caster is invisible for 30 seconds. Activating an object or attacking will break the spell.- Expert Level - Cost - 334

Mayhem: Creatures and people up to level 25 will attack anyone nearby for 60 seconds.- Master Level - Cost - 990

Muffle: Move more quietly for 180 seconds.- Apprentice Level - Cost - 144

Pacify: Creatures and people up to level 20 won't fight for 60 seconds.- Expert Level - Cost - 290

Rally: Targets won't flee for 60 seconds and get extra health and stamina.- Adept Level - Cost - 113

Rout: Creatures and people up to level 20 flee from combat for 30 seconds.- Expert Level - Cost – 316


RESTORATION

Bane of the Undead: Sets undead up to level 44 on fire and makes them flee for 30s. - Master Level - Cost - 988

Circle of Protection: Undead up to level 20 entering the circle will flee. - Expert Level - Cost - 171

Close Wounds: Heals the caster 100 points. - Adept Level - Cost - 126

Fast Healing: Heals the caster 50 points. - Apprentice Level - Cost - 73

Guardian Circle: Undead up to level 35 entering the circle will flee. Caster heals 20 health per second inside it. - Master Level - Cost - 716

Grand Healing: Heals everyone close to the caster 200 points. Does not affect atronachs or machines. - Expert Level - Cost - 254

Greater Ward: Increases armor rating by 80 points, and negates up to 80 points of spell damage or effects. - Adept Level - Cost - 86 per second

Healing: Heals the caster 10 points per second. One of the two basic spells. - Novice Level - Cost - 12 per second

Healing Hands: Heals the target 10 points per second, but not undead, atronachs, or machines. - Apprentice Level - Cost - 25 per second

Heal Other: Heals the target 75 points. Does not affect undead, atronachs, or machines. - Adept Level - Cost - 80

Heal Undead: Heals the undead target 75 points, but not the living, atronachs or machines. - Adept Level - Cost - 115

Lesser Ward: Increases armor rating by 40 points and negates up to 40 points of spell damage or effects. - Novice Level - Cost - 34 per second

Necromantic Healing: Heals the target 10 points per second, but not the living, atronachs or machines - Apprentice Level - Cost - 37

Poison Rune: Targets that fail to resist take 3 points of poison damage per second for 30 seconds. - Adept Level - Cost - 146

Repel Lesser Undead: All affected undead up to level 8 flee for 30s. - Adept Level - Cost - 115

Repel Undead: All affected undead up to level 16 flee for 30s. - Expert Level - Cost - 353

Steadfast Ward: Increases armor rating by 60 points, and negates up to 60 points of spell damage or effects. - Apprentice Level - Cost - 58 per second

Stendarr's Aura: For 60 seconds, undead in melee range take 10 points sun damage per second. - Adept Level - Cost - 248

Sun Fire: Ball of sunlight that does 25 points of damage to undead - Apprentice Level - Cost - 24

Turn Greater Undead: Undead up to level 21 flee for 30s. - Expert Level - Cost - 267

Turn Lesser Undead: Undead up to level 6 flee for 30s. - Apprentice Level - Cost - 84

Turn Undead: Undead up to level 13 flee for 30s. - Adept Level - Cost - 126168

I honestly can't remember, I just documented them as I find them, but after playing as long as I have on multiple characters & working on compiling different lists I tend to forget where I find the Tomes, unless it's a common Tome like Bound Sword which is available from merchants I deal with a lot.

Are runes basically magic death traps of doom? I'm more of a warrior then a Mage, but I do a little destruction magic here and there. And there is only Lighting, Fire, and Frost Runes , right? Thank you.

I only use a few of the Tomes myself & the main one is Transmute. I'm a Sneak Archer a Ebony Bow & also using a Ebony Sword with a Dragon Scale Shield for the up close & bloody work. But a list was needed...lol

Here is a list of Spell Tomes that I have compiled over the last 4 weeks of playing, I'm sure that there are more out there that I haven't found but there wouldn't be many.

I've only compiled the Tomes that I have found.....

Are you sure you are talking about Spell Tomes ( Books ) & not Scrolls as I've got Conjure Frost Atronach & Conjure Storm Atronach in my character inventory as Scrolls.

The scrolls don't teach you the spell though only the books. Well as far as I know anyway because none have ever taught me. LOL.
