I have looked through numerous post and found nothing that has helped or work to solve my problem, so here it is. I just bought a brand new in the box copy of Skyrim Legendary Edition, put in the cd and installed it, it asked to install steam and I did that. Steam then had a huge update, once that was done I installed Skyrim via steam and patched it. Now when I launch skyrim i get to the Play, options, data part and when I hit play I get an error stating TESV.exe - Application Error The application was unable to start correctly (0xc000007b).
I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling, I have done a file integ check and it comes back over and over saying 1 file failed to validate and will be reacquired. However it doesn't seem to reacquire it... This is really annoying as I really want to play!
