Skyrim redone question

Hey guys, I am doing a play through using skyrim redone, as the main mod. I have other mods such as adding weapons and armour and it is suggested to use the reproccesor. However I don't own any DLC and therefore will not be able to use it. Would this effect my game as much?

Also as I am a wood elf, I should gain the power to summon a wild companion, however I don't seem to have it any help?

I think the newest version of that is called perkus maximus.

I have minor experience with Skyrim Redone, but I remember liking it. It seems like you've figured things out for your wild companion issue, though, right?

For the record, Perkus Maximus is an entirely different mod from SkyRe. Same author, but SkyRe changes far more than just the perk trees.
