Hi everyone. I'm trying to transfer a save file from an xbox (which I no longer own) to steam (windows 8).

I used a program to extract the save file. I edited the extention as .ess, then I copied that file into the steam save file folder. The save file comes up on the load menu but when I select it I get the following error:

"The savegame could not be loaded because it is outdated. It is version 0 and the current version is 9."

If anyone knows a workaround this please let me know - it would be really nice to get that savefile back!
