Hello. I love to roleplay but the thing is...i suck at coming up with background stories for my characters. I want to make an Orc 2handed warrior at age 16-19. I can't think of anything to come up with especially for an orc, i dont know much about them...never really played with one. If somebody could please post a good story for my character that would be so great!!! I'l give rep for any reply :) Thanks in advance! XD

***USEFUL INFORMATION IF YOU NEED IT FOR STORY***
He will be Orc 2 handed warrior who will join copanions and age range from 16-19. His name is Orok.

Oh thats a young orc. I'm not an orc person but I do know how to run a young character. Says your 16. well In Skyrims views you have to be seriouse sometimes but hey you're still a teenager. So act goofy from time to time be yourself.
On the character build Hmm look at other RP'ed orcs. try the one in my signature [TTF] It has an orc character not young but has a Backstory. also look around and get ideas off other people. As For the knowing nothing about orcs read the orc page on the TES wiki it should give you an inside look of orc society which is one of the closely gaurded in TES series they're mysterious creatures. Anyway Good luck.

I would do a bit of research, start by playing an Orc in game. Find all the Orc Strongholds and talk to everyone at each one. Try to pick up on their history and find out what they do. Find all the Orcs in game and talk to each. Some will tell you a story of why they left their stronghold and are out on their own.
Read through the UESP Orc Lore Page and read through the books listed on that page in the references.

You've got a name and a weapon preference... so let's go from there...
    - Your history
    - - why have you left the Orc Stronghold?
    - - - Were you captured? If so how? Caught in a trap? Lost and wandered into a camp?
    - - - Did you strike out on your own? Why? Trying to prove you were a warrior or looking to join the Legion as a sell sword?
    - - - Perhaps you were disowned by the chieftan and sent out to prove yourself, told not to come back until you found some Orc relic.
    - - - Maybe you've never seen a stronghold and grew up in the city? Are you an orphan? did your parents work at a forge? Now you want to strike out on your own and find one of the strongholds, prove yourself worth so they take you in

    - - Your training
    - - - Where did you learn to fight? Where you drafted into the army? You're still very young though...
    - - - what kind of 2 handed weapon are you going to wield? Axe, hammer, sword??
    - - - What armor do you wear?
    - - - How much training have you had since you are still young?

No offense to Rathalos, but from the quick read through of the Orc Lore, Orc children are taught, practically from birth, to fight and have a strict code of ethics and rules. Perhaps if your character was a city orc, having grown up in an orphanage, the typical teenager traits of "humans" could've rubbed off on you and given you a "playful" spirit, although I picture an orc child being the but of jokes and being bullied... until he stood up for himself.

Hopefully this gives you an idea how to create your character and its history

Thanks so much guys this helped a lot! I looked at the orc lore page and learned A LOT about them haha. I found out about their strongholds so i looked more into that too...and i think i've come up with something.

He is a city orc from Markarth and is son of Moth gro-Bagol, who is the personal blacksmith for the Jarl of Markarth. The baby orc (Orok) grows up to be very strong from helping his dad around the forge and carrying heavy weapons. Orok always seemed to be pleased with the battle axes his father made. As a young teen Orok would spend his spare time practicing swinging weapons around in his yard hoping to be a mighty warrior one day. His father recommended him joining the Legion, and that's what he planned on doing. Once Orok was 18, he said goodbye to his father and set out for Solitude to join up with them, but then found himself surrounded by stormcloaks on his travel. Orok was knocked out from behind from the impact of a warhammer, which should've killed him. Next thing he knows hes in a wagon led by imperials with stormcloak prisoners in the back. Orok gets angry with the imperials for mistaking him as a threat and wants to head back to Markarth and join up with the stronghold up there. Maybe he shouldv'e done this in the first place, joining a stronghold with his blood kin, where he will be safe, and become strong.

**That's just an idea but im also kinda new to Skyrim***
If maybe you could add a few things or change something to make it more realistic that'd be a big help.

The best advice i can give that wasn't already mentioned is have fun. Let your character just flow, and unless its important to your character don't worry so much about a backstory for such a young character. And remember to keep some of his history a mystery so it will make a more interesting story.
