Releasing Companions

Given the frequency with which companions wander off or are stationed elsewhere, it can be a pain to replace them. Frankly the game should automatically offer to ditch your current follower when you try to acquire another

I would love to see a simple option (maybe controlled within the 'Active Effects' section) where you could simply release whatever follower is currently assigned to you.
