Bravely Second: End Layer, Square-Enix's sequel to Bravely Default, was confirmed for a North American release last year by Nintendo, who is publishing it here. Now as of today, we know when it'll become purchasable: April 15. You'll have a decision to make on that day: get the last copy of Bravely Second, or file your taxes on time. (You could just file your taxes NOW, but....you won't, will you?)

Will there be a Collector's Edition to hoard? You bet, and it doesn't look half bad. It's got a stylish slipcover, a 10-song soundtrack, and an artbook weighing in at 250 pages -- no cheap stuff here! It'll be out the same day, but probably only for preorders, and cost $69.99.

There's more: you might recall that Bravely Default had a prequel demo released before the main game where your progress carried over into the actual game once you bought it. It was a cool idea that WILL be repeated: Bravely Second: End Layer – The Ballad of the Three Cavaliers is the name of the demo coming soon, and any goodies you earn you'll be able to keep in the full game.

Bravely Second happens in the same world of Bravely Default, but a few years afterward. Fans have called Bravely Default one of the only truly excellent games Square has put out lately. Will Bravely Second achieve the same applause?
