If you're anticipating The Elder Scrolls Online, there's a
thread on Reddit you should probably check out. Beta users are talking about their experiences and impressions of the game.
Does some of this break the beta's NDA? Honestly, it's so specific that I can't imagine how it wouldn't, and Reddit moderators have already removed some posts that went a little too far. But that doesn't mean you can't read it, if you don't mind potentially being spoiled a bit. Just keep in mind that these are far from official sources and that elements in the beta might not reflect the final game.
The comments themselves are all over the map. There's a mix of enthusiasm, wariness, and disappointment. Some users loved some of the new systems and tweaks, others hated them.
Repeated themes that stand out, however, include a general feeling that the quests are generally more compelling than the usual "kill so many of this monster" quests, that the world is beautiful and interesting to explore, and that there is a nice challenge to the game after the initial levels. Users who dared to get a little more specific also drop some tantalizing hints about such things as the stealth element of the game and how player actions in quests have an impact on the gameworld.
So, if you've got a big chunk of time to kill, and a few grains of salt to take it all with, check it out for yourself.
