Notes:
  • The number in parentheses is the level affected when Dual-Casting the spell. Formula to calculate Dual-Casting level is [(SpellBaseLevel+Perks)x2.2].
  • Affected level is not the Player Character’s level, but rather the enemy’s level. All levels can be found on the UESP: Skyrim:Skyrim - UESPWiki

I had to do the math to get them. Each perk adds a certain number of additional levels to spell.

Animage adds 8 levels to the maximum against animals, Kinndred Mage adds 10 levels to the maximum against people, Hypnotic Gaze adds 8 levels to the maximum for all calm spells, Aspect of Terror adds 10 levels to the maximum for all fear spells, and Rage adds 12 levels to the maximum for all fury/frenzy spells. Dual-Casting then multiplies the resulting number after perks are considered by 2.2. I rounded all numbers down for the sake of this guide.

My source for the base levels, and perk adjustments was: Skyrim:Illusion - UESPWiki

And which wiki are you using? The UESP or the Wikia? I personally use the UESP as it is better ran, more effectively structured, and more reliable. The Wikia has rather poor admins, I find it irritating to navigate since it requires me to search everything and wont just take me to a specified page without a actual link, and is often very very flawed.

Good guide, I am constantly finding myself re-performing these same Illusion calculations whenever a new thread pops up about it. Great idea to go ahead and write it all out once and for all. The last part of "Fear" should be (64) instead of (29).
I corrected it, however it actually comes out to be 63.8 when you do the math, since the game appears to round down, I posted it as 63.

Just what I need, but in UESPwiki note says:
Master Illusion spells do not benefit from Dual Casting, however they can still overcome the level 50+ cap with the relevant perks and by using Fortify Illusion potions.
