I have only ever played male builds, so is it hard when u are a guy to play as a female, i mean in a roleplay way and a general play of a female build. Please tell me if it has worked for u thanks.

I'm the opposite. I always play female characters, I recently started a male character, and I'm enjoying the novelty of hearing "lad" instead of "lass", being called a "man" with honour or some such. It's like playing the game from fresh eyes again. :D

Its good u say this, i was hoping it would give me a new way to enjoy the game, sounds promising.

Haha. Yes. I played only females for a long time. Then I decided to make a two-handed specialist, and it only seemed right that it would be a large, very strong man. What surprised me most was just how FLIRTY so many of the npcs are!

That's who I made too! A strong imperial, with the very awesome name of Cassius Lionheart. Steam Community :: Screenshot that's a pic of him. I tried inserting a pic into this box, but I couldn't work it out.

It's a big hammer.
I always play the different genders because it adds a different perspective when role playing, I think. Skyrim and TES games in general do a great job of being gender neutral, but there are a few things you'll probably notice.

I have to agree with Moris, though. Sometimes a build just seems to lend itself to a gender. My two-handed, light armor wearing Nord is a male because I imagine him getting hit hard and hitting back harder. My dual wield is a female because I imagine precision strikes at lightning speed.

Good luck with your playthrough, I'm sure it will be fun and a little change is always nice!

I really am thinking about playing a female char soon, I don't know where to start though. How would I make her class unique from my other characters? I ask myself.

hmmm I have the same dillema i want to make my new build archer/sneak, but not sure what else to put in there for her to make her a unique build. the biggest problem i would have is would i marry a guy i think it would be hard to rp that, but its something new i guess.

Marry a girl. Nothing wrong with that in Skyrim. :)

You could always make her a lesbian. That way you don't have to RP doing it with a dude if you're not comfortable about it. Job done. :D

This presents you with an opportunity to get in touch with your feminine side! Maybe you should make her an unarmed boxer, so you have a bit of masculinity counterbalancing her femininity.

I've tried picking males before, but their walking animation really annoys me more than it should.

Would be kind of awkward picking a husband if it were me.

I'm just going to pick wives or no one at all, lol. Call it sexist if you will, but I'm a guy and I really don't like some of Skyrim's male characters. I get tired of hearing about how they would be a lot warmer and a lot happier with a belly full of mead.

Is that fur coming out of your ears?
Roughly half my characters are female.

When playing my males, I often forget back story and go all macho-kill-maim-destroy, as if it were actually me playing a guy I can relate to.

Yet on my females, it's somehow easier to remember who they are supposed to be and why they make certain choices. Can't for the life of me tell you why...

Also, after many years of MMO's, I got used to playing female characters because the males were usually butt ugly and if I'm going to spend years on looking at one person's backside, I at least want to enjoy the view!

Also I think I tend to be less reckless and more protective of my ladies, since in real life I adore women and having worked in law enforcement, kind of have it in my nature to take care of them and let the dudes take care of themselves, lol.

Groundbreaking research here. Ladies and gentlemen, we can now confirm that pixels can carry hormones.

Seriously though, thats peculiar! I always play the same regardless of gender or class. I'm objective based it seems.
