    Embers: Winterfall

    Description

Embers: Winterfell tells a tale of travelers wandering in the vast land of Skyrim; where death, despair and even darkness falls in the land; succumbing and corrupting man like a plague. The snow is black and fire is burnt erratically for the embers of triumph and tragedy run through the veins of the sons and daughters of Skyrim. The wolves of lightning and dragons fight while tearing the land a sunder; each fangs creating and embracing the cycle of hatred anew while Necromancers rise the dead... Skyrim is filled with many terrors.

The fire burns erratically in the games of fallacy and Equivocation for these fellow travelers as they hold firmly through the storms of Skyrim, adventuring through the lands as their fates starts to intertwine like a pact of lions; as they soon become a family whether they like it or not if they want to survive in this harsh land.

    RP & Abosut

This is a character driven story & role-player whilst focusing on character development, immersion as well as, character interaction between characters; characters make choices and treat the role-play as if they were playing the real game but stories can still be created and progressed however, you must have a mindset of the Skyrim map because you can role-play existing quests within the Skyrim quest. Furthermore, stories created by the player will be moderated so they are more interesting and structured. Although the main genres are action, adventures and comedy (including immersion), because this a character driven role-player the atmosphere can created to your liking for example the atmosphere or the tension become dark; because this is character driven then this means things can change. As things change, so will your character so you will need to role-play/react to your surroundings this as if your character was actually in Skyrim; how they react to their surroundings and environment to keep this immersive and open interactions with other characters (if they are in the proximity to your character) such as gathering firewood to burn a fire. Furthermore, another example is if everyone is low on food than they will need to hunt or buy items if they have the coin.
Characters can advance through their status such as becoming thane of a particular hold or somehow become a Jarl to further emphasize character driven role-play which the RP can become a literal Game of Thrones however, this would need to moderated and heavily discussed.

Summary: Character driven and character interactions. Main Genre: Action, adventure and comedy

    Setting - Background Story

This takes place around 4E 201 however, the war had escalated even more so, resources have been slightly become more expensive and taxes have been increased of the holds that are support either the Empire or the Stormcloaks.

The war has made the land more harsher, even the weather has become more extreme in the harsher places in Skyrim.

Public executions have become more common and Ulfric Stormcloaks has become more mad with power; making more demands and claims to rise through power so war has become a lot of violent and aggressive meanwhile, Thalmor activity has been increased and Necromancers (including vampires) have becoming more outspoken and powerful using the war to their advantage; rising many undead throughout Skyrim.

    Backstory/background:

He was born outside of Tamriel, he was a normal boy that was in school and studied however, he wanted to be successful; to be rich so he could do what he wanted to do or do what ever he wanted to do and travel to make something out of himself. As a boy he had a tiny dream that he never told anyone; to be some sort of hero or some sort of sage - he wanted to make something of himself and see what the world had to offer. So he grew, did well at his studies and by the time he had finished college then he became a very intelligent man at the age of 18. During college, he had already done small training's such as weightlifting to keep him strong and fit while other aspects of him being able to shrug off the cold when he is serious even if he acts like he is very cold as well as being able to have good self control so he can also shrug off a fair amount of pain.

After finishing his studies, he soon started a business of Smithing and engineering and eventually as he worked hard for, the business became successful. Because he had made thousands of coin, he could finally go off and seek out his dream which shortly after, he left his home town while giving the money to his folks and charities including giving enough ownership to his most trusted employee to run the business for him. When he left he suddenly, left a letter out of the blue to his parents that he had left which was very distressing and confusing for them.

Now at the age of 20, you might think he is still quite the latter of not improving in the three years but he worked hard and travelled across places to learn and eventually, he read a book that fascinated him about a place called Tamriel and decided he would go to Skyrim because he loves the snow and winter but he knew it would be a harsh land for training, adventuring, culture, history and making money (or in this case Septims as he found out). After three years of intense training and traveling, he than took a ship that took him to Windhelm; despite being born in the winter in his home town, he quickly found out that "Skyrim is too damn cold".

He continued to train with them until the age of nine; thereafter he fled the Dark Brotherhood in Black Marsh. He wanted to only kill the bad people, not everyone else. However he still uses his natural born skills if they are needed. He wandered Tamriel till he came to Skyrim. He found this land to be very beautiful and unexplored. He wandered upon an Orc encampment one day. They planned to kill him. But their chieftan, one of the few orcs who didn't always think about outsiders as the enemy, took him in and raised him as an Orc. They called him by his true name as well as his Orc name, Grit. He was always resented and thought of as inferior. At the age of 18 he bid farewell and began wandering Skyrim. He came down from the North into the swampy lands of the Hjaalmarch. He cleared out several caves and ponds he found there. How do you backstab a Dragon?
    th

    Name: Ingin Thorne
    Age: 19
    Birth Date: 18th of Frostfall
    Height: 6’0”
    Race: Nord
    Appearance: Stunning
    Birth Sign: Shadow
    Occupation: Mercenary/Thief/Assassin/Enchanter for Hire/Smith
Preferred hand: right – battle ax/left spell or occasionally another battle ax
Sexuality: pretty much anything that moves, human or otherwise as long as they tell her she’s pretty
Marital Status: single, Single, SINGLE! She intends to play the field
Habits: flirts with everything that moves, has to comment on any conversation she hears – regardless of whether she is involved in it or not. Has to strip every corpse she finds and, if she doesn’t want to keep what she’s got, stuffs it back inside the corpse to get rid of it. Must take every gem, piece of jewelry or item of gold she runs across. Must read every book she comes across, sometimes twice (can be quite inconvenient when she is supposed to be getting something done)
Hobbies: Drinking Argonian Bloodwine or Cyrodilic Brandy on the porch of her Lakeview Manor home; sparring with her friends and followers – either verbally or with weapons (just to keep in practice); casting frenzy on random crowds just to have some entertainment; hunting Thalmor (not that she has anything against them – she just likes their shiny armor); swimming; badmouthing Ulfric Stormcloak and the Imperial Legion in a public place then slinking away while invisible just to watch the ensuing arguments
Wealth Status: (Optional) Comfortable (okay, relatively wealthy, but doesn’t really care)

    Appearance:

    Hair: Copper-read
    Eye colour: ice-chip blue
    Skin Colour: very tan
    Build: buxom and strong
Attire: generally vampire armor, but also studded or scale – likes to show off her girls

Personality: Rather irreverent in her approach to life, she has very little respect for any kind of authority figures (or anyone in general - she has the habit of saying, "The world is full of idiots, my job is to prove it to them". Her whole perspective is, life is to be lived and the only way to do that is with cash. She loves a good adventure and the better things in life and, while not minding the "camping" thing, much prefers a good in, good food and nice clothes. An inveterate flirt, she will use her womanly wiles on anyone that seems even the least receptive. With a sharp mind, she can usually size up almost anyone. While she enjoys the better things in life, she has a bad(?) habit of always giving to charities and beggars. One of her key credos is: "Why steal from folks, it's so much easier to loot their dead bodies." Perhaps that is why she likes to spend so much time in dungeons and barrows messing with drauger. She doesn't have anything against anyone except soldiers, Thalmor and bears. Soldiers because she considers them wastes of flesh that would rather have someone else doing their thinking for them, Thalmor because of their snooty attitudes (what they do she couldn't care less) and bears, well, because their so loud! Any of them she makes it a point to confront and kill and take all their stuff to sell it. While not a particularly nice person, she values the comradery of her fellows, particularly people of similar lifestyles (i.e. the TG and DB) and works hard to keep their respect. Occasionally she likes to adventure with companions but tries to stay away from animal companions as they have a bad habit of dieing when their around her (okay, she admits, it's usually by her hand - the barking and either running away or confronting the enemy get's on her nerves). Above all else she enjoys fury/frenzying her enemies in to killing each other while she watches from a dark corner and swigs her Cyrodilic Brandy or Argonian Bloodwine.

Positive Traits: Expects her friends and followers to be comfortable and provided with everything that they need. Gives to charity. Will open her home to any friend in need.
Negative Traits: Cross her and she’ll kill you. Period. Friend or foe, cross her and you will die. No excuses accepted. Relishes forcing people to combat and kill each other for her entertainment.
Likes: Argonian Bloodwine, Cyrodilic Brandy, clothes, gemstones, jewelry (okay basically anything shiny.
Dislikes: spiders, horses and chaurus. Can’t stand sweet-rolls.
Aspiration/Goals/Ambitions: To live forever in a creepy castle while stalking the night... To return to the Imperial City in Cyrodil to take over the Dark Brotherhood and Thieves Guild and punish all those that caused harm to her friends before she left.

    Combat:

    Misc Skills: smithing and enchanting

Weapons destruction, conjuration and illusion magic and war axes and daggers

    Description of Fighting style:

Light armor, dual wield battle axes or one-handed battle ax/destruction. Specializes in Archery, Conjuration, Destruction and Illusion. She also enjoys her enchanting and smithing as well as sneak and lockpicking. Sneaks almost everywhere when in interiors or before reaching opponents. Direct confrontation when on roads. No running away. Assassination, particularly long distance and sneak attack (throat slit). Thievery only if it does not involve pick-pocketing civilians (no problem with bandits or reverse pick-pocketing with poison and will even, occassionally pick-pocket a drauger).

    Backstory/Background:
Born in Helgen to Radolf Thorne, the local alchemist/wizard, she had a priviledged upbringing, but, given that her father was something of an oddity in the Nord culture as a magic user, she often felt an outcast. Having showed early talents in magic, particularly conjuration, illusion and destruction, by the time she was beginning to become a woman, her father decided that she should give up the tomboy life of a hunter that she had been relishing in since the age of 6 and her incessant wandering around Falkreath and Whiterun Holds and sent her to the Imperial City to study at the Arcane University. She immediately chaffed at her "studies" at the University and found her instructors to be overly cautious and stuffy. While she excelled at her studies, she fell in to a life in the Imperial City that involved petty thievery and, by the time she was 16, even some murder for hire. Being very good at what she did and specializing in espionage, breakins and discreet "accidents", she was often utilized on a freelance basis by the Thieves Guild in the Imperial City when it needed some more discrete contracts fulfilled as, such a pretty, well-bred young lady was rarely suspect. During one such contract, as she was working with a group of local merchants to undercut a newer and rather shady shop owner, she ran afoul with the henchmen of the gentleman and was forced to, not only kill him, but to kill all of his cohorts, rather messily as it were. Although not caught, the discovery of the bodies of so many in a well respected shop led the authorities to a closer examination of the relationship between the Thieves Guild and some of the merchants in the area and a round-up began. Sensing that it was, perhaps not the best of times to remain in the Imperial City for someone of her persuasions, she made the decision to return home and try her luck in Skyrim. As she had been gone a good number of years, she was surprised to see the heavy presence of Imperial Forces and Thalmor in her town. She was even more surprised, as she watched the execution of some peon "rebels" from the upper balcony of her home that, a dragon attacked! She barely escaped with her life but lost both her home and family in the attack. To her good fortune, as she made her way to Whiterun, she ran in to her childhood friend, Hadvar, who was now, apparently, an Imperial Soldier, who filled her in on the events of the last few years and urged her to use her special talents (he knew of her education at the Arcane University and knew well of her prowess with bow and knife). With plenty of cash on hand, Ingin entered the Sleeping Giant Inn in Riverwood, hoping for a peaceful night after her dramatic day and a chance to gather her thoughts. To her surprise, whom should she see but a motley crew of adventurers: a tiny little Nord man with a decidely seedy appearance; a dark haired young man that seemed to currently be holding court over a laughing group of locals; and a rather frightening looking Argonian who, apparently was laughing right along with them. This surprised her as Argonians were so very rare here in the central plains and mountains of Skyrim.

"Orgnar!" She called across the Inn, catching the attention of the man behind the bar. "Long time no see!" She could see Delphine in the doorway of her room and could tell by the confusion on their faces that they were having trouble placing her. "It's Ingin you fools! I've grown up." She smiled brightly and sidled up to the bar, enjoying Orgnar's eyes playing on her developments since she had been 13 and last here. "Ingin?" he said, a bit short of breath. "Ingin." Delphine said in a flat voice. So she wasn't Delphine's favorite person. She never had been though.

Well, it seemed kind of silly not to include dragons since they're pretty indigenous to Skyrim at this point so you probably couldn't avoid running in to them occassionally. Good news though: Ingin likes dragons and is more than happy to take 'em on by herself if needed. As she noted, she really is a crack shot when it comes to archery and loves to spam her fireballs, ice storms or lightning so you guys can just watch. :) Sorry though.

HA! Given how overconfident Ingin is, that might be a good idea. Fortunately Ingin was able to come out of the University with some pretty good enchanted items for protection against elements (it was one of her specialties during her enchantment studies) so she would probably pass them around to her companions. Besides, as long as you stay away from their mouth and don't get bit, sniping them from behind is a very effective way to get 'em. Of course it helps if you have a distraction - thus Ingin's propensity to raise dead wildlife (a dragon will go for a bear or troll before he'll go for you!) and summon antronachs at every opportunity.

    Guys, the ultimate question!

I know this might be a bit lore breaking but should we have TV existing in Skyrim/this RP? Since this is a comedy than it would open up TV or media related references (we don't have to mention TV in Skyrim) but it would just open up media related references

Quite possibly, but she'd never let you get hurt. Of course she'd work with Kiro on magic. It's one of the great joys of her life and she can't understand why her fellow nords are so adverse to it. One of her favorite activities is magical duels. Since she collects books, she almost always has some spares around that she's happy to share. She's after adventure and eventually the total domination of the TG & DB in Skyrim so she can get even in Cyrodil, but her educational background makes her want to pass on what she knows, especially if it causes trouble. :)
