Non-existant wife?

So a while ago i sent my wife (Aela) home from blackreach and so i come home to lakeview manor and there are bandits (one in all steel plate aka rochelle the red) so i kill them all and dont loot as im pretty far in the game and dont need anything. Time passes no wife so i start researching and she was kidnapped but rochelles body with the ransom note had already despawned. I have tried reloading saves but nothing happens and im on console
