map symbols in compass

does anyone know (for PC versions) a way to remove the map markers in the Compass?

I know you can turn the UI down to zero but that makes everything go away. I still like to have the compass but not the markers for the various caves/towns/shrines etc. this way I can stumble upon them and really feel like exploring.

Okay... while searching around for a compass hack... I finally found one!
Skyrim Compass Tuner over in the Skyrim Nexus.
This is JUST what I was looking for because it let's me leave up the HUD and removes some or all of the symbols from the compass. It also has tweaks to the map and such. AWESOME!
Makes adventuring and exploring just a that more interesting now that I have a compass (orientationally challenged here) and none of the undiscovered areas show up. I literally have to stumble on them or be sent to them.

ONE NOTE: it makes changes to your skyrim.ini file so make sure you make a safe copy of it before using the tuner.
