Making a custom follower mod

Hi everyone!

I would love to learn how to make a follower mod, style Vilja, Inigo, ... but I can't find much tutorials how to do, and youtube isn't an option for me, because I'm deaf. So, can anyone teach me, or point me to useful tutorials?

Hi Pompey. Here are the tutorials I used. It's best to view them in order. The first will tell you how to set up the initial esp file, to get you started. The second deals with creating actors of all sorts, and then the third is follower-specific.

At the bottom of the first page is a link to the Tutorials Hub, where there are job-specific tutorials listed down the right hand side. If you have questions that the tutorials don't answer, I usually have good luck with I google the combination of creation kit + tutorial + (whatever the problem is). If there are too many results, then I'll add Skyrim to it.

Also, there are always active modders on the steam and nexus forums as well. Indeed, some of the bigger problems I've had have been answered by following a google link into a steam workshop or nexus discussion on the topic.

This is something that I really want to do, and that I would've done if I wasn't so goddamn lazy.
