Light Combat Play Style

Hey all,
I've played the ES series since ES3 but never played around with the idea of being a semi pacifist. Is it possible to play a stealthy character that only kills when necessary? Or a caster that can charm, enchant, or cast illusions to avoid combat as much as possible?

I understand the main story most likely requires you to kill dragons or some other bosses, but will my new play style idea be viable?

I believe you can play that way, I know demut is going to try, but I don't think you could finish without any violence. At some point you will need to kill something if you want to finish the main quest line.

That sounds good. I'll see how it goes! I'm very interested in seeing if its possible to play a magic focused sneaky character.
