My friend got me a free (pirated, don't rage yet) copy of skyrim, and i have been using Skyrim Nexus for mods so far. I've only been screwing around so far and i'm waiting till i have money so I can buy myself a legit copy (probably off steam), which I actually really want to do because Bethesda made an amazing game. But is there a way in the mean time to put mods from the steam workshop onto the copy of skyrim i have now?

Just download them from the Skyrim Nexus, they will probably have the same or at least similar mods, plus there are many more on that site
